hehe. pretty easy qu. really. some hints

drop the vi and vf crap. its just confusing and it will get even worse later on.
u = initial and v = final, thats all you need.

also, some good ones to commit to memory.
1 second drop = 5 m
2 seconds = 20
3 = 44 ≈ 45
4 ≈ 80 and so on

they are easy rough guides esp in multiple choice qu's, saves minutes working out the answer, unless you need to 2dp or so

dont bother helpign him seriously he needs 2 learn on his own your just making him dumber
