Are you talking about The Game (Zamboocan)?
This song is amazing!
'If Pacman had affected us as kids, we would now all be running around in dark rooms, munching on magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music'

just signalled to me a strong sign that hixxys venturing too far out of his safe zone. the song simply didnt appeal to me... that styles is just too cliche now.. too many old style game songs like that with the robotic voice and stuff... pacman on bonkers, zambookan, and i guess 'i dont like it' and 'stoned' if thats what they're called from hardcore nation 2009 fall into that catagory too..

I dont see the big deal with 'Black Rain' by Sharkey, Arkitech and Odyssey. Arkitech has made waaaaayy better tracks than this.
Plus....its ancient! Sharkey was playing this track in 2006

i'd never heard it. it has a limited appeal after about 3 listens.
but yeah, put this on bonkers 17, it'd have been less highlighted. this albums just poor making black rain very unique.. because it's much better than the rest! its actually the most 'bonkers' song in nature on the track too! xD

I don't think theres anything wrong with Hixxy 'going our of his safe zone'... 'I don't like it' And 'I Get Stoned' froms HN09 have electro-influences in them, but that doesn't have anything to do with the 8-bit style samples used in zamboocan and pacman remix. I would choose 8-bit style like Wii Go Crazy, Zelda's Ass, Twatris, Zamboocan and Pacman Remix over the boring electro-style Hardcore ANY DAY!

Twatris, Zelda's Ass and Wii Go Crazy are good songs, i just think that the robotic female synth voice thing is overused now.
Similarly, i think the 8-bit pacman style songs are too. Eufeion to me seems like an exception because his 8-bit samples are used differently, the pacman remix and zambookan are electro and im finding that it's a bit cliche. lots of artists are doing it now because the first couple of songs that were like that were successful..
but i think my points a bit more solid with the female comupterized voice...

I`m pretty sure Hixxy wasn`t the first person to say/use that.
