Everyone used to bang on about Requiem For A Dream being depressing so I went and bought it......good film.....did it depress or upset me??? Not at all.
I dont think any films have depressed me. Some have made me sad, upset me and made me feel down though such as:
The Notebook
We Were Soldiers
American History X

Without a doubt.
One flew over the cuckoo's nest
Clockwork orange takes runners up for overall sick and disturbing, in just about every aspect of the movie.

Pretty much everything David Lynch like Lost Highway, Mulholland Dr, Inland Empire, etc. Truly a phenomenal director and writer.
Also have to give Girl, Interrupted a mention.
More movies that I can't remember too...

I loved the movie.
I think i know the track you're talking of, very acidy? My mate played it once ..
Which track was it a remake of from The Notebook, because i can't remember any linking between the 2.
EDIT. It's a Nina Gordon track right? I didnt remember that being in The Notebook.
