Exactly. Dogs are much closer to their wild cousins than cats are. Also until a hundred or so years ago dogs were bred to fight (and still occurs in various places), particularly the pits and staffies. Wjen i ws working in the dogs home the majority of dos in the dangerous dogs/ court oreder section were pitbulls, staffies and rotties.

Because certain breeds can be more vicious then others, yes. On their own. Any respectable dog owner can teach their got not to act a certain way through how you react to them when they misbehave, and how you act when they are good.
Dogs learn too, you know. Because an owner neglects it's dog, and it becomes vicious doesn't mean the breed itself is terrible all in itself. Humans can be more unpredictable then dogs.

Sometimes other people/children can be seen as a threat.

in my experience dogs only become a threat to children when that said dog has been locked away from the child.. then it wil see it as a threat as dogs need to be intergrated with humans as much as possable regardless of bread

I agree with kathryn. That dog exists to kill. It has been breeded from the sickest meanest and most agressive dogs for decades. A few decades of breeding human friendly dogs on the breed doesn't change the dogs true being. It doesnt attack adults, they attack kids cause they mistake them for dogs or something. That dog is a weapon, and should be under the same treatment as weapons. I'm not against banning, its everyones own freedom to get whatever dog they want. But i am against people getting penis enlargements shaped as attack dogs. Theres a reason why Denmark is trying to ban 13 dog breeds. People get dogs they cant handle. Just now theres a news here where a German shepherd bite a little girl cause the owner couldn't handle the leash. The owner should be charged the same way as s/he would have used a firearm against someone IMHO.
That wasnt pointed against you Wilky BTW, i dont know how well you can train/handle dogs.

Thats pure shite. A dog that attacks a little kid, isnt insane or anything like that. Its behaving like its supposed to behave, its the owner thats trying to manipulate its true being. A guard dog attacking anyone that invades its area, is doing exactly whats its supposed to do. Its a shame when that guard dog was my fathers, luckly i had the time to slam the door right in time, before that "teddybear" (not my words) could cuddle with me.
Edit: oh and if you didnt notice, i'm a cat person myself.

Thats why pitbulls are banned in this country.
You see how it reached up to tear the plastic imagine it turning on your kids and doing the same.
You never know.
Pit bull terriers are among the breeds banned by the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991.
