I actually have all the original master recordings, original PSD / Illustrator layered artwork for Bonkers 1 to 12 I think... maybe 13 as well not sure... because I organised the Japanese releases. So all is not lost if we could get approvals.
Actually I have the original HTID 1+2 album artworks and masters as well as they were released by Resist

I wonder who exactly does hold the rights now - and those rights might be exactly.
If they went back to Resist after the single AATW effort, and Resist subsequently went into administration - that could mean that the "rights" simply don't exist any more?
Disclaimer: Wasn't my original plan to post a serious response, but I couldn't think of any pencil gags :-(
my guess is if the series was ever trademarked, patented, or the BONKERS name with that exact font copyrighted, they hold the only rights to anything Bonkers-like. If no one does, then might be a good idea for someone to do so for future use or so no one else can use it.
although, this is strictly US copyright/trademark standards. Out of curiosity, what does it mean when something goes into administration? Is that like bankruptcy?
from what I understand, Administration is when the company is handed over to an independent company to either find a new buyer, or sell off and close down the company, if a buyer can't be found in the alloted time (6 months I think) then any company assets will be sold and the company shut down. (its more technical than this, but thats the skinny)

I'm sure the directors transferred or sold ownership of whatever they wanted to themselves before declaring bankruptcy. But then again maybe the AATW deal was done and it took a long time for the CD to come out...

There are no Djs around currently that are worthy of carrying the name of Bonkers. Hixxy hasn't as far as i'm concerned isn't producing enough quality tunes to be worthy of a disk as sora blue isn't enough to carry an album and we'd end up with his butt buddy recon filling in and he's not good enough imo. Sharkey has rightly left and deserves no respect at all considering his hissy fit over Hardcore energy 2 etc (lost all respect for him which was a lot because he was one of my favourite producers of all time **wanker**). The third disk would usually be (in terms of appearances)Sy, Dougal or scott brown and lets face it what has dougal done recently that hasn't been tied in with electro-gammer? and as much as i like Scott brown, he's not producing much either and sy & unknown are on Hardcore heaven stuff so that's the origonals counted out and even the every so often Djs wouldn't be enough to carry the series (Marc smith, neophyte and kutski etc).
So who could replace them? Not brisk and Ham for sure because they both are tied up with HU and it would be overkill as with any involved in that series so that really leaves the new bloods that don't have the name value to carry it. that's even before the rights are granted to to do the series now if i had to pick a bunch of producers that i would like to see do such an album (not joey riot! i was a big fan but he's also wank now) i would have to say people like Entity, S3rl, Eufeion, Technikore, Kev energy (if he could be convinced to come back) and Vagabond but hell even if that was possible, it would NEVER be bonkers so yes it is in the past and it did go out with a bang with #17 and all 3 disks were awesome and it's one of my favourite compilations of all time.

but if fracus and darwin were also on bonkers it would be overkill because if already being on HU and lets face it in the last one they were scraping the barrel.

Speaking of Scott Brown I'd love for him to do something in the scene a bit more, maybe his own podcast or a CD or something.

What was the last tune he produced/released? I literally have no idea. All the Evo 100 tracks were remixes by other people weren't they? Has he written any new material in the last few years? I do fcuking love him. His catalog of vocal tracks from over the years are just cock-hardeningly good. I sincerely hope that this is released digitally one day:
