Scott brown is one if the DJs who has different opinion but amazingly talented that's been forced out if hardcore...

plus his sound is far too good for todays hardcore... and he's left the other big names quaking that's why he's been pushed out... kinda like orbit 1

Was Orbit1 that talented? I'm not speaking against him here, that's a genuine question, the only stuff I heard by Orbit1 was the kind of Aussie HARD stuff which I didn't really have much of an opinion on so it's not my place to judge. I heard he went into other genres though...what's the story behind him?

I still have never seen any of his tracks or ever heard anything of note from orbit1 yet he is wanked over online and i dimply don't get it. I also seriously doubt if the guy is anywhere near the level of Scott brown

I have to say, around the time Orbit1 was popular there was a massive Aussie influence in Hardcore and a lot of it went straight over my head. The Aussie big names for me have always been S3RL and Starstruck

hardcore is too small. he wanted a larger fanbase to express himself through music.

Sharkey has rightly left and deserves no respect at all considering his hissy fit over Hardcore energy 2 etc (lost all respect for him which was a lot because he was one of my favourite producers of all time **wanker**). The third disk would usually be (in terms of appearances)Sy, Dougal or scott brown and lets face it what has dougal done recently that hasn't been tied in with electro-gammer? and as much as i like Scott brown, he's not producing much either and sy & unknown are on Hardcore heaven stuff so that's the origonals counted out and even the every so often Djs wouldn't be enough to carry the series (Marc smith, neophyte and kutski etc).

So who could replace them? Not brisk and Ham for sure because they both are tied up with HU and it would be overkill as with any involved in that series so that really leaves the new bloods that don't have the name value to carry it. that's even before the rights are granted to to do the series now if i had to pick a bunch of producers that i would like to see do such an album (not joey riot! i was a big fan but he's also wank now) i would have to say people like Entity, S3rl, Eufeion, Technikore, Kev energy (if he could be convinced to come back) and Vagabond but hell even if that was possible, it would NEVER be bonkers so yes it is in the past and it did go out with a bang with #17 and all 3 disks were awesome and it's one of my favourite compilations of all time.

Could you explain what the HNRG2 and Zonkers ******** was about?

And by that he really meant "hardcore doesn't make me enough money". I mean, let's be honest, if he just wanted more people to hear his music he'd go into producing rap and then linking to his hardcore stuff. HE wanted more money. You can't blame him for it, but let's call a spade a spade. Is he still producing as Bioweapon with Inverse, or are they done with that? And tbh, as talented as the guy was, Sam seemed like an *******. He knew how good he was, and grew a god complex. I've never heard anything good about him personally.

This. I don't get how some people can't have heard music. He is without a doubt one of the top 5 hardcore artists to come out since 2000

I heard a few tracks with various MCs and wasn't that impressed really. It's solid UK Hardcore...but that's it IMO, there's nothing particularly standout about it. Any particular track you guys can recommend?

I've heard a fair amount of his stuff. I've got a couple of his remixes. I seriously can't see what the fuss is about. He's good, fine, yeah. But top five of the last ten years? Your opinion is your opinion - but I personally don't rate him like that.
