Hey, over the past couple of years , going to events such as HU nights, HTID , HTID in the sun, uproar to name a few I have noticed the apparent lack of darkies in the crowds, don't get me wrong I'm not spying that's a bad thing or saying I want them there however I was wondering why there weren't many of them? Any ideas? Does hardcore put out a racist vibe?

I would've understood your "reason" if it was about white trash music, but Hardcore?
I just think it attracts more white persons. nothing more, nothing less.

Agreed. Especially when you're asking if the scene is racist and then go ahead and call all of the non-whites "darkies"
But I'll play along.
It isn't just a British thing. It's also an American thing as well. Although lately it's been a bit more of a multicultural scene lately due to so many of it going mainstream, as well as these shittyass mainstream performers having it incorporated into the music produced for them.
But during its more underground days, it has definitely been a majority of whites liking it. Also many Asians liked it as well, but they leaned more to the trancier and house side of EDM instead of the harder styles.
I just think that African Americans for the most part have grown up to listening to gospel, hiphop and rap at such a young age that is as far as their tastes in music really go. Dubstep at least has that urban feel and elements for them to like, but that is as far as they would go really.

It doesn't cover the entirety of hardcore, but isn't the gabber scene actively against racism (or anything tied to neo-nazism/fascism for that matter)?

No but saying "darkies" is for ****s sake. :P What is this, 1950.
It's exactly the same at Free parties, Hard Dance nights, Trance nights, etc. The only raves I've been to that haven't been completely dominated by white people are DnB and House/Garage nights.
It's just a culture/musical background thing. It may change eventually though with dance music/electronic influences seeping into RnB, Reggae etc. and cultures blending more and more.

Not touchy at all its just a crap thing to make conversation out of.
And going back to your original post - "Does hardcore put out a racist vibe?" ... Major facepalm, the scene was built on people being loved up on pills, smiley faces, singing about rainbows high in the sky etc etc etc. Hardly KKK material is it?
