What somepeople think ( including myself ) is that if the Raverbaby DJs or the Raverbaby Record label takes the award it will be set up as there are better DJ / Record label than Raverbaby. Also the "most contribution to hardcore" award if that goes to hixxy its a fix.

why would it be a fix if hixxy wins? he runs raver baby, and while we ahven't seen his name on a lot of stuff that's come out lately, he's brought out quite a few names on RB. though there are others which have certainly contributed equal or more out there

TO call it a fix would just be stupid.
Im not the biggest fan of hixxy either djing or producing wise, but if he won 'outstanding contribution to hardcore' or 'best dj' i dont think it wud av been un earned

there r alot of better djs around but raverbaby have done alot since thier release look at how long hixxy has been goin aswell but i think that brisk should win best dj but breeze or 1 of the others r goin 2 win but its goin 2 b a good nite either way just like slammin in august outdoors

So true, possibly the worst thing I ever did, I'm just so used to using "Sy" everywhere and being known as "Sy", It was a very stupid error to join a hardcore forum with that name though!!!!!
Still that's the only real thing I've ever done wrong on hhc.com pretty clean record otherwise  .

Going back on topic for just 2 seconds (its ok guys you can continue in a minute hehe  ):
I disagree that the Hardcore Awards will be a fix...... this implies that the votes are rigged, and I doubt this very much.
It is a well known fact that Hixxy and the rest of the Raverbaby crew are possibly the best known DJs on the scene at the moment, and as such they are all bound to attract alot of votes.... mainly IMO due to the sheer amount of publicity they receive!
Please don't get me wrong, I am not saying that they don't deserve any awards as they have all done an awful lot for the scene, are all excellent DJs and have got some fantastic tunes under their belts.... I just feel that there are others who have done more for the scene...... Sharkey or Silver for the contribution to hardcore, Sy or Scott B for the DJ etc...... it has to be said though that whoever wins whatever, all the categories are going to be very close coz there is some excellent talent and amazing dedication to hardcore out there and everyone deserves respect for that!!

Anyone who thinks that this will be a fix is obviously looking at it from their own personal opinion (dislike) of Hixxy/Raverbaby.
He is one of the top Hardcore DJs, and runs an incredibley successful record label. Perhaps those are the reasons he might win an award.....?
I dunno why people have to be so nasty.
