Deadline for confirming entries is Midnight tonight (27/3) UK time.
I'll start a new topic later for everyone's mixes to be posted so they don't get lost in here! Please try and keep any discussion re: the competition in this topic to keep the other tidy and easy to follow. If possible, i'll get the mix topic locked so nothing can be added after the time.
I'll add more points re 'rules' later.
I'm envisaging a period of 1-2 weeks to get the mixes in and give everyone enough time to listen. Then there'll be a further period for voting. Anyone with a problem with timing please let me know and we'll try and accomodate everybody.
SUBMITTING MIXES
To keep things even for everybody, it will be better for links to be submitted to me via PM so i can hold on to them until the right time so no-one has an advantage
As for where to upload your mixes, still not entirely clear but I really do recommend Mixcloud as it's easy to use and upload and of course you can stream mixes without having to download them. Being able to easily add a tracklist is also a big plus. As always though i'm open to suggestions/bribes!
Note for mods - I know there's a section for mixes but will it be ok to keep them in this forum seeing as the response has been so positive? And will i get shot for Posting in general hardcore for anybody that might not read this part of the forum?
Finally, prizes.
Suggestions are welcome cos i don't have a clue!

Yes mate. A dozen or more Hardcore only mixes to wade through might get a little repetative! My mix is only about 50% Hardcore

I'd say ideally a week but if it's a struggle we can extend it to maybe 2 depending on how many people have trouble getting theirs in on time.

Right.
The time to close competition entry is almost upon us so here's how it'll (hopefully) work.
All entrants, please PM me with a link to your mix. 1 mix only please
All genres/styles are welcome but it's likely Hardcore will be better received by the voters!
Ideally it should be between 30-45 minutes in length, longer mixes are acceptable but please try and keep them as near as possible.
A tracklist (or link to) will be preferable, and please try and provide an introduction/description to promote your mix.
I'll set an initial deadline to receive mixes as 12 midnight UK time on Sunday 3rd April, maybe extended by another week if there are problems getting mixes in on time.
Once all mixes are received, i'll start a new topic - to list the mixes only (in the order i receive them), this topic will stay open for any queries/general chat. Feedback is welcome but please save this until voting starts.
More on the voting process/feedback/prizes to follow.
