I used to love nearly all hardcore between 96-98 and 2001-2003.

The only hardcore thats really doing it for me at the minute is Scott Brown, CLSM and Gammer's stuff, with a few exceptions.

I'm missing innovativeness with the top flight, Hixxy, B&S, etc. It all just seems to be the same stuff release after release IMO.

YEAH 96-98 WAS GR8 IT HAD MORE FUN IN THE TUNES THEN!

Cant really explain it I like it because I like it not for any other reason I just enjoy everything to do with the music and the scene, though I like other types of music hardcore has been my favourite form of music since I was a nipper. There is alot of negativity going round about the scene at the mo but i dont really care what others think or say tbh its what I love.

well rygor because all the main people here started to say they dont really like hardcore no more all back 2 back. i found it odd for many reasons...

im sure if i lived in another country hardcore wouldnt be all that great . even tho i would still like it , it would be so played out but here in america its like im a pioneer. djing and producing hardcore is something very rare and hopefully i leave an impact in the us hardcore scene in the future and maybe even beyond.

like i said many times ass soon as hardcore goes commercial everything goes out the window basically. if i lived in the uk the first thing i would do is move out to USA immediately.

hardcore in california is the future

Dont know how you think 1 rave every few months is better then having a choice between 2-3 a weekend
The idea of being a pioneer is a bit far out of reach I think, If rob gee and omar santar couldnt
I dont think things would magicly change
*ends rant*

The trance sound which has become all so over used is what has made people become cynical about hardcore.. Definatly time for a change!! Think tracks like G Spencer and Gammers "Dubcore" and Robbie Longs "dopest dj' are the future!!

I'm raw to the floor cause i love my hardcore.
You know the score and what i'm waiting for. Yeah bro it's banging hardcore!!

In the area I live, there are hardcore dj's playing out regularly. Yes we are pioneers in our scene bringing a once hated style of music to a new arena of party goers. In the U.K. it seems that hardcore dj's are seen as superheros, and the closest that us in America will get to those dj's are as close we can get to the labels on our records. We are the stars of our hardcore scene. We fill the dancefloors. We bring the hardcore to the forefront in our citys.

The "trance" sounds have been in use for a long time now, so it isn't really new. But the point that i wanted to make with this quote is the part about the future of hardcore should sound like "dopest dj". The problem that i have with that statement is that those songs already happened! Dopest Dj isn't innovative at all, as it's already happened. Listen to the hyper section in the middle and then listen to "Ruff Muff" on Next Generation, almost the same style. And the beginning and the end is a recall of happy hardcore of days past.

We can no longer live in the past and hope for a brighter future. In hardcore the past will only hamper what is on it's way for it's future because hardcore has a very rocky past.

Respect your hardcore, because only we can make it grow.

Respect the Hardcore Massive.
