Hey pples i been going thru past bonkers albums and cdz iv gotten that are mixed by hixxy and is it just me or is he losing his touch?
Before when i used to hear his mixes i was blown away because they were awesome but nowadays when i hear his stuff its like i have heard it all before, nothing new to my ears i guess.
Is it just me or is it time for hixxy to take a bow and let some better talent take his spot on bonkers and other cd's? Or maybe he just has to reduce his cheese factor?

maybe the mixxin is predictable but hes ace an his mint productions/remixes keep him in touch
there for he should stay cos hes bin there from t he start
an hes fookin wiked

He definately dont seem to be as good as he used to, but perhaps he's doing it on purpose to let other DJ's look better coz you know hes f00kin amazin!

I was thinkin' the same thing a few months back
His mix on 13, quite controversial. Bit like marmite that one - you either love it or you hate it
His mix on Clubland Xtreme Hardcore i thought wasn't up to scrath at all.
Then the mix on Bonkers 14. Now for me, there are some really amazin' tracks on that, somethin' for everyone. and In my opinion it was a brilliant mix, so i supose he has redeemed himself in a way. He will never make those superb mixes like he did on Bonkers X + XI etc, but i still think he will always be legend

i dont think he is losing his touch coz he has always done it for me but iwas abit dissapointed wen i heard his mix on bonkers 13.

I wouldn't say he's losing his touch but I do agree with you about how all his current sets sound like you've heard them all before. Imo Hixxy's an awesome DJ but all he seems to spin these days are Raverbaby tunes. I doubt he'll ever beat his mix on the first Bonkers - From the intro to the end that was an absolutely mind-blowing mix and he really should have stuck to that formula instead of pushing his own label's stuff instead.

hmm i dunno, it could be a faze, i like hixxy, in fact i think he is a ****in legend, but ne ways, i agree that his stuff has been sounding a bit repetitive recently,. but i wreckon with more n more sets his stuff will become even more ace than it is already!!!

Yeah that was a phat mix. Anywayz I dont think he's losing totch, he has been doing some dodgy mixes on bonkers and that tho, but iv got some immesnse mixes of his on a few tape packs, plus the guy has been around since forever promoting the scene and that, show him some respect :P
