I don't agree
Chavs haven't ruined the scene. There are alot more chavs into Hip Hop, Rap, RnB etc. than there are into Hardcore.
It wont matter soon anyway, the Hardcore scene is growing strong. We'll have all sorts of new listeners. Chavs will just blend in.

erm...I originally come from a town in the west midlands called redditch, it has a lake called arrow valley and I saw lots of blokes going down to the lake camping out all weekend fishing they would then buy dvds or videos on fishing and go on fishing trips to bigger and better lakes rivers and seas. They did consider it a way of life or at least part of theirs. I do consider hardcore more than a night out. You don't have to, but plenty of us do. Much the same for role players, some just want an arse about and kill all their mates, others are proud of their level 12 cleric with a + 5 mace, ppl have the right to be different. I am not asking you to change, I am just asking you to respect my life style choices and my way of life. I have been unlucky enough to live in Belgium for six years and have been unable to go to raves at the weekends for a night out of my choice. I would kill for the chance, but by maintaining my links with the scene thru the internet, ordered music and style, it is a way of life.
