All hardcore throughout the years has been good and bad. It's all personal taste.

Depends on you're point of view really.
Personally I think it's got a bit boring lately, and that it was better in general around 2005-2006. Mind you, that's when I got into Hardcore, so that might explain why I feel that way. You'll find most of the people who started listening to Hardcore in '92 etc will tend to favour the music from that around the same era.

Personally I would prefer the stuff from the 90s to the stuff now although I find stuff from the early 2000s was also a bit better than the more recent stuff! Maybe it was because it was closer to the 90s?
I fear that most new Hardcore is going Electro sounding & will lose ats hard edge altogether just becoming a faster veriant of club music although I could (hopefully) be wrong!

Exactly.
And what often comes into play is that people only listen to "classics" (ie the best tracks) from a long time ago. The overall quality level is pretty steady if you count all the crap ou there.
I personally prefer 2002-2003 hardcore to 2005-2006 hardcore... It's all a matter of taste.

I think that there is no time period when hardcore was best. This is true for any genre, unless you bring "classic rock" into play, but then you're just being picky.

I love the 90s Hardcore the best, but there are many top tunes coming out in the present time.
