I'm with Bulby! another fresh sounding piece of naturatech! im sure that'll get on when its done :) I've finally finished Tutorial. Ive made a few changes. The kick is now punchier and more present. Its generally better mastered. Heres the 6 minute 128kbs version. If it makes the album, I'll send the wav to you, Ken :) Link: http://www.4shared.com/file/81497381/92a68e6d/Fluxx_-_Tutorial.html
this is kev's track isn't it? it needs a lot of work mate. might want to consider picking up some more sample packs. in other news, mortis just finished mastering my track, he's gonna upload it tomorrow, and i'll ship a wav over in ur direction.

L33t or Eleet (sometimes rendered leet, 1337, or 31337), also known as Leetspeak, is an alphabet used primarily on the Internet, which uses various combinations of ASCII characters to replace Latinate letters. The term is derived from the word "elite", and the usage it describes is a specialized form of symbolic writing. Different "dialects" or varieties of leet are found on different online forums.
History
Leet originated within bulletin board systems in the 1980s,[1][2] where having "elite" status on a BBS allowed a user access to file folders, games, and special chat rooms.

it needs alot of leveling out... the lead is really loud compared to the song.. and the kick and that needs putting into time as its completely out of time. but if you do that it will be a really nice track... im liking it

Smoogie what software are you using to produce? I ask that cos in Fruity Loops (and probably all music production software) there's a BPM display, telling you the tempo of your project.
The lead your using is at like 158 BPM (i think). Whereas your percussion is at 178 (i think or there abouts) you need to get them perfectly matched. I dont know much about production granted, but what you could do - just a thought here so please any experienced producers feel free to come along and put me in my place - is lay down your percussion at whatever tempo it is you desire, then chop up the lead sample and place each note so its on time with the beat. Or as i think Mortis(?) said, work around the sample and place the percussion so its in time with that. I dont know but at the moment its a mess, sorry mate. If you got it in time and levelled it out like tru bass said it could be a really nice track though. Good luck mate.

im going with true bass. the main lead takes over the song.
listen to some other old skool tunes.
urban hype - trip to trumpton
SL2 - on a ragga tip
shamen - ebeneezer goode
rhythm section - check out the bass
devious J - Jay J - Put 'Em by the Bass Bin
ellis dee - rock to the max
after the first 2, 4 or 8 bars, the track will significantly change. you might start with the raw lead, then change to a break beat section, then combine them and then add some other stuff as you go on. this variation would follow a trend in old skool and do your track wonders rather than having the same repetitive track all the way through. it'd also llengthen the track.
