imo, Nova's done a good job.
The vocals are ideal because you can pitch them, time-stretch them, chop them up and make them say what you want.
You can play them backwards, put a vocoder on them, use EQ and FX to do anything you want....
except, it would seem, use your imagination.

Have to use the vocals in some way or another.
As for the sample, i dont see a problem. I mean we can use kick samples and stab samples and all that palava cant we? Why not that?
Bulby: nice one mate, ill definitely give it a bash, whether or not i do make summat decent or not - its all production practice either way.

hehe it's been interesting to see what ppl think of the vox. It's been a learning curve for me too entering this so it's all good.
Do people have to use all of the chosen vox or (as previously said) can ppl chop them about and only use bits and alter the notes etc? I think that would make it quite interesting.
I really can't wait to see what ppl come up with. 1st of May seems like a long time away hehe.

i like the vocals. like Ionosphere said there perfect for twisting about in whatever way you see fit so whats the problem? If you dont want to use the full vocal why not chop up a sentence and just make a sortof sample out of it?
I would have liked them un-tuned tbh though, too much use of the blasted melodyne in places and it does stand out, but theyll do. Cheers Nova! 1st of may may seem a long way away too you (too many "ay" sounds in this sentence) but some of us need it lol
But luckily the creativity is now flowing so well see what i can come up with

yeah, the vocals really are good but i'm struggling to get anything sounding good around them. I'll keep @ it though. plenty of time yet.
when I think back to last years vocals it really is night & day. I couldn't do a thing with last years. Who sung last years vocals? anyone know?

Got a draft for bassline done, but struggling to make a proper lead synth >_> Also thinking about making a bridge part for some proper variety, we'll see how it turns out
I like the vox, just need to chop em up a bit and maybe throw on some effects
have had loads of work lately, so glad I have fewer shifts now that the comp is on, more time to work on it :>
