Pretty sure he would tick a lot of his current fans off if he did that. So I doubt it would happen :p

Well he wouldn't be able to hide it for long. He has moved on anwyay like he said, a LONG time ago, why would he suddenly want to make Hardcore just because someone suggested it to him. If he wanted to do it he already would.

No need to hide it … Orbit1 also makes House and he doesn't hide it, does it make him loose fans ? No.

Here it is as known as every other commercial genre out there, hence this awful breed of Hardcore that we have had to deal with for the last 5 years. The UK might not be the only country in the world but its where the majority of people posting here come from (other than the US). My point is that your speaking to people about a scene that is already way more than popular enough where they live so it's not much use to ask them about it. This would be something more specific to your country.

My country, and the rest of the world, exactly. You seem to be one of those people who only think about themselves and stick with their country, nah ? Like a patriot

Yes, but probably Classic Oldskool House ( which actually sounds similar to oldskool Hardcore ).

No, Hardcore just dosn't need to be more popular, simple as, it's already over commercialised, and it's ruined the scene for the last 5 years, end of story. I've no doubt though that you got into Hardcore for the commercial stuff anyway, like many others here, but it's not the same Hardcore me and many others know and love.
Watson. said all that needs to be said.

Yeah because the Raver Baby crew are the only hardcore producers around, so I guess it's all down to them to make the Hardcore you want.

Make some sense, please!

I don't know how you can compare Orbit1 to Carl Cox. Sure there both great DJs but I'm willing to bet that Carl Cox has a far bigger fan base and way more die hard fans then Orbit1 does. Far more. Far far far more.

People have big expectations when they see Carl Cox playing anywhere. It would hurt his image to play a different genre especially with his fans. I mean look at this message board, you see people producing for a different genre and everyone gets all butt hurt about how there "abandoning" Hardcore (Such a silly thing to say seriously). He would probably get a similar reaction with his fans, despite how retarded it is.

Anyway that is my theory on why something like that would never happen. I'll leave it there.
