pitbull cross staffie
Hope you have it muzzled round ya kids.
nope and never would... Dont beleive in them.. Its all about how u bring em up...
Plus bruno loves my son...
Exactly.
A dog can be taught anything, you just have to have the will and patience to teach a dog to be nice around kids. The first thing we do when we bring home a dog is stick our hand by the dog and tease it (not rough teasing) to see if it will bite. We've only had one dog do it, and we would hit it's nose (lightly) to make it learn not too.

I never said muzzles were cruel, there's real reasons why they were created and needed at times. Was just saying I was against animal cruelty.

I agree with muzzles if a dog bites or shows signs of attack ie snarls but i dont agree with just putting one on coz of a type of breed.
This type of breed are the best type of breed imo. Ive been around pitts and staffies all my life. 9 times out of 10 they eat kids/adults for 2 simple things, they've either been toaught to fight or have been locked away and think we are the enemy. Dont forget dogs used to wild animals intergration is everything

Dogs can be unpredictable.
yes but with that attitude they'd more than likely would.
My labrador is more likely to attack. As u say dogs "can be" not are unpredictable. Dogs learn off those around them. Trust me, im 100% sure that my son and the one due in 2 months are fine... Dogs react to positive energy better than negative like in ur post

Exactly. Dogs are much closer to their wild cousins than cats are. Also until a hundred or so years ago dogs were bred to fight (and still occurs in various places), particularly the pits and staffies. But I agree wilky, by all accounts I've read these can be the most loyal, tame and gentle of all dogs, but occasionally with a degree of unpredictability in unfamiliar situations.
