Besides the fact it's not to my taste I thought that was boring, unmemorable and I've heard many of those tracks played constantly in various sets in the past few months. Downvote from me I'm afraid, let's hope the other CDs are better.

oh dear....
as predicted. I dont like a single track out of them. The sad thing is it will sell still though to people who dont like actual "hardcore".

The thing I find is that aside from the fact yeah yeah I don't like electrocore etc. it just sounds unnecessary in some of those. The vocal tunes themselves would have been fine without the electro in them, the last track has that electro noise over the top...but it drowns out the vocals too much which means in a club where the offbeat bass already drowns out the vocals enough as it is, you're hardly going to hear them at all. Not to mention it doesn't really add anything that couldn't have been done with upfront riffs and stuff.
It's like it either makes the track completely not hardcore, or it just comes across as pointless and kind of unnecessary, a bit like that remix of 24/7 posted a little while ago.
I'm not having a rant here, I'm genuinely pointing something out, does anyone else feel the same way?

so is that the reason why Anything For You by Ham hasn't been released? Because it's being featured on this album?
Sounds very linear. I don't mind the electrocore, but too much of it just makes this album lacks creativity. Some of the tracks though sound pretty decent from that preview.

Nothing loads for me except an orange and black soundcloud page with no music.

Thats probably a good thing.
Yea neko I agree, I mean I hate electrocore with a passion however thats 1 of the things I have picked up on with it, some decent potential vocal tracks are still being made but its the "noise" over them which ruins it.
I remember after giving up on listening to new hardcore because its all dubstep/electrocore I saw a remix of "come with me" and though maybe its worth a listen. The breakdown with vocal was good and I thought maybe hardcore has become decent again, but before the vocal line got a chance to finish it was split/cut/distored to sound really bad in in came that horrendous sound :(

Take out the "m." in the link so it's not mobile.

It all sounds minor and electro, not a single happy/uplifting song there... though I didn't expect anything top quality in the first place.

Utter pants, some potentially epic vocal tunes in there but they're ruined by noise. I'm hoping (and I'm quite optimistic for my own reasons) the other CD's will be better, didn't expect anything different from Breeze, he's been pushing out shit for too long now.

We all knew that the breeze disk was going to be fart noises and dubstep. Maybe some of it won't be so bad but i get what folk said about some potentially epic vocals being ruined by noise. It's always been the hixxy disk for in this series anyway and styles usually gets a couple of good ones out there.

Yea it's such a shame. The last track sounded pretty decent but I hate that stupid electro sound underneath and some of the other tracks could have been ok but were totally ruined. Hopefully that track and any other tracks that have decent vocals or melodies will have mixes I can get elsewhere without all that electro or dubstep sh*t going on. If all hardcore goes that way then I shall have to stick to trance and anything else with an uplifting sound.
