Wow, I haven't listened to them yet, but I really hope you're exaggerating. Did they actually include ALL of them? A lot of those tracks are really good if you like electrocore, but that album already came out months ago!

Well, I definitely heard Rock the Club, What You Got, Missing, 3, Tsunami and High on You. That's 40 percent of the album.
Oh, and the remix of Open Your Eyes was going to be on the album at one point, not sure if that counts.

This is a forum. It's specifically designed for opinions and discussion even if you don't like them. By all means contest and be a part of it, but don't slag others off for speaking their mind.

Consider the irony of that statement. I never slagged anyone off for speaking their mind, by the way.

Complaining that people are 'bleating' about something that was posted with the intention of an open discussion is like telling people to stop reading in a library. People are here to discuss the previews for Clubland Hardcore X-Treme 8, for better or for worse. Complaining about the opinions of others and rudely disregarding it as 'bleating' is simply trolling, an attempting to derail the thread.

I never complained about anything, nor told anyone to stop anything. I was just putting all the complaining into perspective, and hopefully pointing out a bit of hypocrisy given that many of those slamming producers for the electro influence used today, are the same people who defended them when they adopted many trance and eurodance influences. Fundamentally it's no different.

Oh, and if anyone's trying to shout down someone's views here, clearly it's you.

You definitely complained, if you didn't complain you wouldn't have used such condescending language.

I don't shout down anyone's views without reason and logic, I'm aware some of my opinions are unpopular but I keep quiet about the things I have no knowledge of and try and inject some thought-provoking points where possible. At the end of the day, this is just a forum, none of us have any control over the music, it could be said our entire existence is pointless. But for many this is a place of discussion and an exchange of viewpoints, I do not intend to shout anyone down, I just hope that the points I make help others to see things in a different light, just like the opinions of others do for me. It's an educational experience for all included.

That doesn't make any sense. What does one have to do with the other? The language is mildly condescending because the stance I'm criticising is one I feel is absurd, that doesn't mean I'm trying to shut anyone up. Assuming I were though, I'm not sure how that wouldn't be justified, while trying to shut me up somehow would.

You don't think drawing parallels between the reaction to the trance influence than, and electro influence now qualifies?

You know exactly what you were doing, you can try and justify it all you want but when you condescendingly act as though the opinions of others are unnecessary you're effectively discouraging people to voice those opinions which is the exact reason we are all here. Anyway, this thread is about clubland extreme hardcore 8, not meta-posts about who and who shouldn't be voicing an opinion, take it elsewhere if you wish, but stop derailing this thread.

funny, I was one of the people who nagged about Bonkers 11 becoming to commercialized, but I think I never actually hated the trancier stuff, as I liked the earlier RB stuff

The only place I was trying to shut people up is in your imagination. There only person here trying to shut people up in reality - is you.

You're free to talk about the CLXH8 previews. Going off topic is what closes threads. You might like to see that happen, but I don't. Do it again andI'll just report your posts and await moderator action.

I never took the discussion off topic, you did. The criticism of the album, and by extension the CD is very much on topic here. You're the one going off on a tangent about imagined instances of me supposedly trying to shut people up.

What about that word? I meant it. It was on topic. Going on a tirade about me telling people to shut up (which didn't even happen) is what's off-topic.

I put this too in the other post of Clubland Xtreme Harcore 8

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi People, Im Pex L, And i think ,this is a simple fashion brought for djs like Petruccio & Modulate, Breeze, and darren,

Well, Where is the hardcore?,

The name of cd is Clubland Xtreme Hardcore, But, Where is the hardcore?
Here is a complete set, of sounds Electro, Dubstep, and others, but hardcore?

Well, for this reason , The hardcore producer give us a image of the actual hardcore, but where found the new ideas, and the new sources for this "hardcore", ?

We are DJS! And we need This ideas for The "NEW HARDCORE" Or "Dubcore" because, we want to be in the scene too :S

The previous Cd Of clubland, Like Clubland Xtreme hardcore 1,2,3,4,5 and 6, Give us a image of the music of uk, the trancy melodies, and the good quallity of the vocals, Now? This is happy? Noh. (Now this is a dubstep, with electro sounds,) <------ for me this is noise no music :),

Well people, We need fight for this, The true hardcore lovers, and the true, hardcore djs, the new hardcore djs and all djs, We need fight for this, because this is not the breeze and darren style, this is our style ;),

haha the ambient is like war, but this is cool lol!

greetings people!

AGAIN! haha

You all seem surprised that this album will be a let down. This album's been a let down since they thought up the idea for releasing the very first one.
