DJC is without doubt the future of the UK Hardcore scene. He is literally incredible. The sheer energy he puts into his sets is enough to get every single person on the dancefloor bouncing along with him!
Have to admit I've literally never heard of him. Does he have a SoundCloud profile? I had a quick look, but with a name like that, it's never gonna be easy to find.

Anyone ID the tune in this video for me, please?
The opening 90 seconds are amazing. The drop is hideous. Shame. This is one if the worst examples of this kind of thing I've ever seen. Ahh it really hurts.

Yeah i'll more than likely be there, pretty good line up, and an MC i know is booked.
I totally forgot to mention Klubfiller.
I really, really dislike him.
I think he is a poor excuse of a DJ, he's just a poor mans Gammer. He makes edits before his sets and then gives the illusion of quick mixing by fading in and out quickly.
His set at the water park was poor. A let down after Technikore and Gammer.
And then the last set. Well, when Hixxy did it, start to finish classic slammers. When Re-Con did it, start to finish classic slammers. When Hixxy did it again, start to finish classic slammers. When Sy did it, probably the best set i've ever seen, with the best atmosphere of any set i've ever been at.
Klubfiller? Same fcuking set he plays every fcuking time. Pretty much tune for tune the set he played at uproar and then at the water park. By the end of the night there was like half the amount of people that were at Sy's final set last year.
I know that sounds pretty bad, but that's not even half as disappointed as i am in that final set. It should be something that people go away thinking about and will remember forever. Like Sy's was last year.
This year there was more first timers there than i've ever seen, and that will be the set they remember.

That reminds me of Mob's sets lately. He wasn't a producer I followed before last year's HTID ITS but I thought it was pretty well of him how many sets he did (I think he was involved in like 5 of them). And since I never followed him I thought everything he played was brand new and pretty decent. Well fast forward it months later when I realized that he pretty much played almost the exact same set at his boat party and on his Album Sessions cd during that time. Even more of a striking resemblance of his Album Sessions mix was his uproar set. Almost completely identical with the exception of a different order and one track difference. I mean seriously, come f**king on!
Worst of all is little by little he finally started releasing those tracks after rinsing the shit out of them the last year. And he's still not done releasing many of them. Honestly this is what the mainstream hardcore scene is like, all they do is play the same tracks to death and finally do us the favor of releasing them when we really don't want them anymore.
And yea Klubfiller, I have never heard him play solo last year he was paired up with Unknown on the boat party, and someone else for his second set. What a very poor choice for a closing set. I think y'all would have been better off with Marc Smith, Joey Riot, Al Storm, or Gammer closing out. It's a real disappointment to leave to a set that is full of mostly his productions I bet than a set by someone who can play a great variety from an eclectic line of producers.

I like Klubfiller as a producer and as a Dj, not my favourite by a long shot but decent nonetheless. But I have to agree that closing set was a disaster. Was more or less tune for tune identical to his waterpark set the day before and full of edits and bootlegs. I think some of his productions are amazing - late night, good for me, vicious delicious etc etc but his sets are chock full of bootlegs.
No way should a closing set be given to a dj on this level. Every closing set I've witnessed before this years was amazing. This just left me wanting the next dj to come on. Huge let down.

So someone posted Klubfiller's set, and right off the bat the first track, you can tell already it's not the best set to end a weeklong event like this lol
I must say though the light show and video are pretty damn amazing compared to last year.
Also interesting reading people's post on the event page. Someone had their cell phone stolen from those ******* street vendors, and someone got so sloppy drunk they had to be carried out the club at least twice it seems like lol. Surprised they didn't cut his wristband the first time.

During Fracus & Darwins set on the first night one of my mates who wa smashed out his brains managed to get on stage and get a mic to try his hand at MC'ing. Unfortunately for him the mic was turned off. It looked to us like he'd been allowed on as nobody was trying to get him off the stage, even MC Obie(?) who was the actual MC didn't seem to bothered. We found out the next day that he got in quite a lot of trouble for his stint lol. Looking forward to hearing this recording to see if anything was said as I was a wee bit wasted myself that night.

Just had a skim through, and to be fair to the lad that sounds like a half-decent set!
What's the tune at 17.52? I recognise those vocals - big time!. Well, the lyrics anyway. Can't put my finger on it.
It wasn't bad, but the standard has been set in previous closing sets and this just didn't live up to that imo. Wasn't much more than a typical Klubfiller set from what I remember.

Alright just listened to the whole set and that was possibly the worst track to end the event. It was like a cliffhanger it absolutely needed another track after it, or even a whole other set!
The whole mix itself is ambitious, but it comes out as too stop and start. And yea he seems like he's trying to be the next Gammer, but he seriously has a long way to go.
Overall an OK mix, it's just the mashups and lazy mixing seemed rather irritating, glad it diminshed at the last half. But definitely not the best mix to end an event like HTID ITS.
Also comparing this with last year's set, one thing is for certain. I find Storm to be one f**king obnoxious twat.
And lol on your mate Scotsman. Did he get on the stage from the front, or all the way from the DJ entrance? I remember seeing the youtube video from 2011's ITS where a guy gets on stage while Enemy was up there and he was not happy. I think that's the reason why they added the ropes for last year's event, even though they broke lol. That was also the year that Enemy was taken to jail I believe for getting into a fight with someone.

Yeah it was hilarious, he got on from the main dj entrance at the side of the stage, that's how we thought he'd somehow managed to blag himself a set lol. We were convinced he'd been allowed on until I spoke to him the next day when he told me he was lucky he didn't get his band taken off him lol.

Just kinda skipped through that. Made me even more fcuking angry!
Absolutely disgraceful. Seriously, go and download Klubfillers set from Uproar Decade In Dance, where he finished the night. It's almost exactly the same!
Awful way to finish the week.
I'm actually gonna send HTID an email tomorrow about it.

Besides what u guys thought.... I had a amazing time!!!!!!!!
The atmosphere was loud friendly & insane, all djs did quality sets including a lot of the up n coming names, the North American night was very cool, after party was heavy but the pool party was very intense!
6 months of planning & a lot of stress, sweat & tears goes into Htid in the sun and between 2 guys they pulled off one hell of a party! Credit is given where credit is due. :)
