Don't take this the wrong way, Elliot - but aren't you 16, and have never been to a rave/seen Gammer live?
I'm not a Gammer fanboy, and I don't really enjoy his mixing style if I'm sat at home listening - but his sets are extremely enjoyable live. Like, ridiculously good. Engaging, engrossing, a surprising amount of momentum given what you'd think with so many changes of tracks etc. His set at Hardcore Underground five weeks ago was unbelievable.
Edit: I know that opening line sounds really rude. I'm not trying to be a cnut or show you up.

You asked me this before in another thread! I'm 20 -- and, yes, I have seen Gammer play live.
Edit: I'm not a regular rave-goer though. Can't say I care for them much. Maybe that makes a difference.

Why do people from the UK sometimes start to attack with that "you were probably never to a rave before"-argument? Does it make any difference at all in the end? As if people (from outside of UK) are second class "ravers" or support / enjoy the music far less if they don't go to raves.
Sure, you meet people, you jump / stomp, drink alcohol and meet your favorite DJs in person, but is this an excuse to "reduce anyone in rank" because they can't join?
I know you guys are proud of your scene but please, don't keep that argument, it's impolite and unfair.
And no, I'm not pointing at you Jay, this goes to everyone.

You don't need to live in the UK to go to raves, and Hardcore raves aren't the only raves.

Sorry about the typo on the name.
Apologies for the mix-up on the age. What I said previously is irrelevant then. It's all subjective.

That's not really the point though. Some of us (i.e. me) have just reached that age where a quiet night in with mates is usually preferable to going out to a rave of any kind in any location.

It gets expensive with the time to get a plane and book a hotel room etc. and it's still no excuse to point at those below 18 (or any other reason though, like, "not enough / any money") for example and start acting like it's a big minus / disadvantage that they couldn't join a rave yet. :/

Or those who just started to look after a real job after finishing school / university.

You missed my point. You don't need to visit the UK to go to raves. You have them in your own country, and surrounding countries. Jay also isn't saying that you need to go to raves to have an opinion. I also agree with everything you are saying. Although no one is suggesting otherwise.

We had MoH and one "rave" with Styles, Kutski and Nightforce last year, and that was actually a "good year"...because most of the time, it's Hardstyle or Dubstep, and I don't like those genres at all or not enough to join.

And you missed my point on here, because I said it gets pretty much expensive with the time to join those raves. I can't effort them atm. and the only worthy ones are at UK *just pointing at "Bust An Old Jam" and "I Love Hard Beats"*

I know he said "but aren't you 16, and have never been to a rave/seen Gammer live?" but I had to question this logic british ravers have sometimes where they make it look like people below 18 or outside of the UK are not true ravers or don't have the right to an real opinion until they joined an UK rave.

You're generalising, Thomas. My point was specific to Elliot's opinion on Gammer's live performances. I was mistaken and thought Elliot was 16, and therefore too young to have ever seen a live performance by Gammer. And the idea behind what I said was "How can you say you're "starting to feel that way" if you've never seen him before".
But, as you can see, I was completely wrong about his age. And completely wrong in that he has seen Gammer, and therefore is perfectly entitled to say he feels he's starting to not enjoy Gammer's sets. I apologised, and that was that. :-)

Jay's right, if you're under 18 or foreign then you're obviously a cunt.
