I think my problem is the layout of trackitdown....I LOVED seriousounds when they had the layout by labels. You just clicked on the label and there were all that label's songs. It becomes tiring when you just have to click on song after song from a list of jumbledness.

PUN WARNING!!!

you serious? Serious Sound was a mess. Do you hear how that sounds? Ugh.. and that autoplaying track at FULL volume didn't help -.-

To be honest, the store with the best design was the Nu Energy Collective, that thanks to good relationship with the hosts went sour, became the mess HardBeatStore -.-

I hated the autoplay feature! What I did like though was the organization.

That was awful.

And the price of tracks isn't what is in question. It's the layout of the website and honestly I'm not fond of Audiojelly's layout either. SeriousSounds was ok but I hated that stupid player it made my experience there so terrible lol

I do like Junodownload and Trackitdown's layout, but yes it is a shame that you can't search by label like you are able to at IMOdownload, hardbeatsstore and former serious sounds. But I guess it gets a bit more complicated when you house so many genres and so many labels under one website.

BTW whatever did happen to serious sounds? I did a search and it has mad a comeback, but it seems incomplete and there aren't any tracks available to purchase. Been wanting to get some back catalog lethal theory but trackitdown only has a limited number of them.

I think I've mentioned on here before, hardcore is the only music I listen to, buy and look out for. And I've been dong that now for 25 years, when I was a lot younger I took the drugs and went to clubs, now I'm a father of 3, married, my mortgage is getting paid, my wife of 7 years (15 years together) just calls it noise, but its the only thing I listen to, in my car, on the comp, while I'm in the bath, on the radio (thanks Kutski) youtube, I really don't know why someone can go off the music? Start from the beginning and work your way forward (Smoogie seems do do it the other way round) it will take you 25 years aswell!

I never will, the only other genre i'll suffer is D&B and thats because it evolved from jungle (which was hardcore to me anyway)

I will have to say i've gone through a tone of different genres of music, going waaay back

But to point the obvious starting from 1950s onwards... I think if it wasn't for happy hardcore music i wouldn't have listened to Reggae and even Punk music from the late 1970s to early 80s along with other great 1980s music.

I've always been into my bands from a young age as i didn't really like the poppy chart as a youngster when i got into music around 1998/1999.

Just something about the happy hardcore genre what is unique as well as the early 1990s rave scene what keeps me coming back for more, and whenever i do there is always the odd track i've missed out or totally forgotten about... pretty much for any genre but you get a buzz from it for sure

Haven't listened to much UK hardcore for last year or so for a number of reasons. First of all, things have went quiet in the producing and release side from a number of artists and labels so there hasn't been as much to listen to. I've noticed very little tracks released from Next Generation Records & Quosh Records among others.

A number of artists have left or moved on from the scene or called it a day from producing or just haven't released anything.

Artist such as Kevin Energy have retired from the scene but did find a free track Ying Yang he did for a set last month.I also found that he is part of new project DeckaJam. Their song Forever available for free on soundcloud...very nice track. Stuck in the middle is quite good also.

Sparky seems to have moved on to a project called Sanxion..em..doing future jungle and dubstep.

Another reason for not listening to hardcore is from some tracks I listened to didn't like what I heard - a number of the bigger names have been producing the electro/dubstep sounding stuff which I'm not a fan of. Not into the Clubland Hardcore albums anymore - the first 4 or 5 in the series were decent enough but not into the sound after that.

After listening and liking some of the tunes on Dowster & Vagabonds' Candy Crush June 2013 mix on Soundcloud, got searching for some recent 2013 tunes from various artists. Calling your name, Paradise & One Step Ahead are good from that Candy Crush mix. Their tunes can be hit or miss but have found some decent older tunes from them such as Going Hardcore, Over & Over, Am I Dreaming, Twilight, Have you ever, We're all ravers.

Found some really good stuff that I'm liking the sound of. Chris Fear has been producing some great tunes of late such as Pump It Up. Fracus & Darwin - Coming Back To Me, Stu Infinity - Save Me, Left For Dead, Daniel Seven - Crystal Clear, Energy. I know that's not many but will have to do more searching.

Some decent breakbeat hardcore from the likes of Gavin G, Fracus & Darwin..will have to look for the Hardcore Underground breaks album.

Found some recent free tunes (on soundcloud) which liking the sound of which some of you might have found already:

Daniel Seven - The Saw Man
Endemic & Douglas Keninja (Stu Infinity Remix)
Spirit Wolf- I'll never forget you, Falling (2012 Mix), The Adventure Begins
Sparkz Feat Zoe Van West - Find A Way (Original, Mansy & Gisbo remixes)
Mansy & Sparkz - Somethin like this.

Found some decent older tracks from 2010 and 2011 recently which hadn't heard before..Vagabond - Sweet Love, Stepping Up, Save Me, Better Than Before, Brisk & Darwin - Let's Live Forever, Brisk & Ham - Into your arms (Eclipse Mix), Fire & Flames (Nu Foundation & Haywire Remix) UFO & GSDX - Crazier (Technikore Remix), Darwin - Summer Breeze, Impact- Now I'm Free, Abeyance, Shauny C & Gammer - Have You Ever (Cube::Hard Remix).

Next Generation stopped releasing since Brisk moved to Australia, and he's working on his album CD. Ham has ventured deeper into other genres, but I dotn think they stopped, just taking a break.

Quosh stopped for reason related to what happened to Sy, and Unknown obviously choice the other side on the arguements.
