I agree pretty green eyes is a stunnin tune and should only be tampered with by professionals what i dont understand is why some one would take a legendary track like that and turn it into monkey poo its just not on why dont they stop!!
hardcore can be the route to evil, if spun incorrectly!

As for those who liked the originals ... well, no-one's forcing you to listen to the remakes, are they? Go slap the F&S originals into your player and go nuts.

personally i think ultrabeat did a good job on pretty green eyes, the production isnt bad at all and the vocals are sung well, ok so maybe the vocals could have been a touch better but i dont mind listening to it, and i think they will do a good job on pacific sun too.
remember - force and styles will get royalties from these covers,
and when ppl go on about the trance covers, just sit there smug cos u KNOW that they have come from hardcore tracks, it doesnt matter if people say "ah this 'new' track is awsome" cos WE know that its originally a hardcore track and thats all that matters.....we are hardcore, they are not. let it go.

yeah theres not really any point getting angry about it because theres nothing u can do to change it. the only thing that bothers me a bit is when people come up telling me what a great trance tune pretty green eyes is...and its like no...thats a great hardcore tune! but if u think about it, how many tunes has hhc remixed, and i bet alot of people who were fans of that music werent too happy either, but if it makes money 4 the scene i dont c that its hurting anyone....this doesnt mean i like the remixes..i just dont have to listen to them!....infact earlier on ultrabeats pretty green eyes came on the tv..so i turned it off came upstairs n blasted out the original one instead! bring on the force and styles ;)

Ive got a mate who couldn't stop singing "pretty green eyes" after hearing the remix and was thinking of buying it. So being the nice chap that iam i said i hated the remix and would play him the original. Needless to say he now agrees that the original is a hell of a better track!

my only problem with flip n fill's covers r the fact that they dont seme to do any original stuff them selves, they just make money and repution of copying everyone else, it wouldn't be so bad if they actaully released something original as well

Covers are nice, but if you make a cover you need to make
your own track first, or else your just fake.

Well if you do it right I don't care if it's your first track or not. I just recently found out "Poached & Scrambled" is a cover and that was the first release for a couple of the Raw Elements crew. I loved that song to death before finding this out and it doesn't hurt my opinion of it one tiny bit
