Sorted tonight! I've backed Torres for the golden boot, and hope he bangs in a couple more against Saudi Arabia next! Lots of goals in this group aswell!

Well thats great hey, just over a minute in and Owen screws himself up for what looks like the rest of the tournament.

Meh, not bad. Draw was good enough, Joe Cole was great...again. Not the best defending from the set pieces, but still, top of the group.

He took 4 strikers! 2 were unfit! ones a donkey and the other one hasn't had a shave yet! to win a world cup u have to have a main striker who gets 5/6 goals, he should of took Defoe and AJ at least for the squad which can give the team options in the last half hour! any way come on Ecuador

and anway don't get carried away! because England have topped a group that consisted of SWEEDEN (only scored 3 goals and won 2 games all year!)
PARAGUAY ( how the f**k did they get to the finals)
TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO(Wales under 21 side beat them last month)
but got to say luck is on there side because Sweeden could have won 5-2 tonight!

Huh, what was wrong with Sol Campbell? I thought he played quite well for a change...
It was his fault why Sweden equalised to make it 2-2. If it wasn't for him wondering what to do, standing around like a chicken, and failing to use his inititive to get into the right position and clear the ball, England would have beat Sweden for the first time in however many years it was. Duely noted, he made some good headers and one stand out tackle, but that just made me wanna lick his bald black head and say 'sign for West Brom mate.'
