That Cisse broken leg will render him out of the world cup, and also I suspect stop any moves away from Liverpool he had planned.

Wayne Rooney and Steven Gerrard both kicked off training as England's preparations ahead of their World Cup opener against Paraguay gathered pace.
A back strain kept Gerrard out of the session on Wednesday, while Rooney was expected to train with the physio again as his rehabilitation continues.
However, both took a full part in the opening warm-up exercises on Thursday.
Stand-by striker Jermain Defoe also took part, but he may have to return home when the squad is confirmed.
Further encouragement was evident when Rooney, during the ball work section of training, put in a heavy challenge on defender John Terry.
For a second day, only the first 15 minutes of the session were open to cameras and the media, but the players looked relaxed on another fine day.
The session was England's last in Baden-Baden before Saturday's 1400 BST game at the Waldstadion, with the squad due to travel to Frankfurt on Friday.
There they will have one last practice at the stadium in the afternoon, before the finals kick off in earnest for them against Anibal Ruiz's side.

Sadly Gerrard's only a 50/50 chance of playing in the first match now.

i dont want rooney coming along id rather ahve defoe, rooney is quite blatently one of the top players in the world, but defoe is hungry to play and he going to have the pace, no player can be upto world class standard with only a few weeks training, it doing no favours to england either keep pinning all our hopes on rooney.
Any one want a bet on brazil going out before semi's???
i shall keep my word to the bet

lol that dont really matter, the under 21's shoud even be able 2 qualify through the group tht england got init.
any team that in the world cup is going to be difficult to play agaisnt, teams like paraguay and trinidad and tobago are going to throw themselves at games, they aint got as much to live up to as us so can take those extra risks

Agreed, I think one of the biggest ways England could fail would be because of arrogance.
No team in the World Cup should be underestimated.
