I have to admit that I always like to see Italy win, but I did not care for some of the tactics used in this tournament.

Couldn't have put it better myself...
Italy should have been out in the second round.
They didn't deserve to win the final... too negative, just like the Italians of old.

Would love to know what Materazzi said to Zidane though...

Well that scoffed my predictions... Germany scored 3 & France lost.
Oh well at least the Champions League starts in the next 2 weeks and the pre-season friendlies start this week.

Best header of the tournament.

No, not Materazzi's goal, Zidane's superbly placed headbutt!

Funny but sad at the same time, poor end to a fairly poor tournament.

Italy won me a few quid so can't complain.

1. So called little teams like Ghana having a real go at some of the big guns, playing fast attacking football

The Bad:

1. Boring defensive negative tactics from teams like Italy & England

The Good

The hosts put on a fantastic world cup, the fans were brilliant from every country and some of the goals from the early stages were fantastic!

The Bad

The refs were terrilble, from the second round the games were crap apart from a couple of belters and there was to much negative tactics!

The Ugly

all the cheating and diving mainly from the most talented players (Henry, Ronaldo, Robben ect) and also Svens 23 man squad say no more!
