we deserved to go out. once again, we prove that as soon as we meet a half-decent team we cannot beat them (portugal were shite today and never looked like scoring). whenever we got forward there was no-one to support, all midfielders and defenders never came out of our half. one good thing is sven is finally gone. why do we always stall it to pens when we suck at them. we don't pick out a corner like germans did yesterday or the portugese today, instead we pick a direction and hopes the keeper goes the other way. no bottle what-so-ever! we deserved to be knocked out just for playing so defensive, every sucked except lennon and hargraves. ref was crap, sven is a clown, rooney is a muppet and ronaldo is a tosser.

I agree with almost everything else you said Kev, but you can't deny Crouch playing well in that match. When he came on he was really really good.

he did play well, i forgot him. he played the role he plays well but problem is he plays as a holding player and for that to work you actually need a midfilder/defender there to support him. we played the whole game with 9 (8 when rooney went off) in defence and one alone up front with no support what-so-ever

I saw the game and England played very bad!
Portugal deserves the Victory.
I hope they will kick the Baguettes out of the match next game!

England were lucky to get as far as they did.
I think Lampard can be held to blame just as much as rooney or anyone else for that matter.
He played in every game, had the most shots on goal and never scored any of them...he just didn't show up in this tournament IMO.
Once again, England built up Wayne Rooney and he ended the competition with 0 goals and a couple of shots in total.
Hargreaves was outstanding, I don't think you would have went 120 minutes without conceding without him, he was immense.
I actually wanted England to win today as some of Ronaldo's behaviour was disgraceful - he really is a little bitch.....If I was playing, I'd have to snap him.
Aaaaaanyway, Looks like a Germany v France final is on the cards. Strict, regimented defending and longshots v the constant throughball. Woohoo!

Unlucky to the England, always next time!
I want any of the last 4 to win except Portugal because they are the only team in the competition now that have not held the World Cup. The more teams who win the World Cup, the let prestigious it will be to get into that elite club. Seven countries have won it thus far, and England are in that club, and i don't want anymore!

100% agree with you. It annoys me the way the media hypes up England sayin these could be the year! weve played shit all tournament, so defensive and boring, long balls to crouch (wow that ****in brillliant) hoping for the best. And the only time we actually play well is wen beckham and rooney r off and were down to 10 men. Im glad its beckhams last world cup tournament, finally gives lennon his place (who I think should have been in starting line up).
The moment it went to penalties, I knew we'd loose (look at our track record!), you could see that Lampard was shittin himself and was guna miss. Finally Glad to see the back of sven, I reckon in a couple of years time all the players (excluding beckham) will say how shit he was and how they didnt want him in charge

Germany - 0 Italy - 2 what a f**king game! end to end stuff how it stayed 0-0 for so long I havn't a clue! and the Refs performance was the best in the World cup so far! it helped to make for a cracking game! R U watching England? thats how to win a World Cup!
