no she cant....when i found out she was doing true love never dies back in...2000?
and TOTP said "originally the singer for the massive N Trance hit Set You Free" my ears perked up and started listening, only to be compeletly horrifed at what i heard...
i dont know what happened, but sounds as though age killed her voice, on top of that, i dont like her pitch corrected either. she shouldnt have made a comeback imo.

I tell people I listen to Hardcore. Almost every single person tells me they were 'never really into metal'. I say 'same'. They just think I'm ****ing with them.
If someone decides they know more about the genre I listen to than I do, and then promptly label me techno, I break out the genre maps. I used to carry one around with me in my notebook, with the section breaking off of Ragga pretty much completely circled.
Yea, on my genre map, Ragga influences Oldskool rave, which influences (along with hardcore rave) happy hardcore. It makes sense when you think about the breaks Oldskool gets from Ragga. People who disagree with me with a proper argument I can respect, no genre map is completely conclusive.

I will admit that I do SOMETIMES.
I listen to a lot of stuff, anything in Electronic will be part of the top of my list, but I do listen to things out of it.
But growing up in Detroit I had either friends who listened to Rock, or Rap and Hip Hop. I knew NO ONE admitted they listened to the type of music I do. But I said hey, **** you if you don't like me because of the music I listen to. Everyone I know can see I listen to a bunch of stuff from Old Rock to Rap to Country to Funky House.
If someone doesn't like you for what you listen to, why be friends with them is the way I think!
Then again I have a high self esteem and you could try to insult me and hurt my feelings. But I'd just turn on a really annoying Techno song that no one likes to make you go away.

I proudly proclaim I listen to hardcore, which usually results in A - the person giving me the wtf look, or B - asking me what hardcore is. Although usually they'll ask if I listen to anything else and I'll tell them what other genres I listen to. So no, I don't lie.
Usually that's what happens around here. Arkansas for you. :p
