well just wanted to comment on the fact that the vox supplied by nova are really good :D, finished one trak and half way through the second one, should be done in a week whoop whoop :D

The fact that someone would complain about the quality of the vocals, is truelly shocking, i wouldn't even know where to begin on describing what is wrong with that. I'm guessing you've lived your whole life being given everything for free.
This competition is not proffesional, so what is the problem?
The quality of the vocals is far more than good enough. If you cant make something proffesional from those vocals, your shit, simple as. They are even supplied at 48 khz 24 bit....
What more can you want seriously.

I'm not moaning about it. 
Show me anywhere where I've said anything negative about the vocals other than a comment about the background noise of the recording.
My problem is with the PLUR-tastic herd mentality on here that has to spring to action anytime someone has any kind of criticism about something.

********. Just because something is free does not mean that it can't be criticized. Here is where most of you lose me. I am not moaning about the vocals. I am not even talking about them anymore. In fact, I'll go one step farther and say that they are great apart from the background noise, which is a minor irritation at worst. What I am talking about is this shit argument that somehow "free" is synonymous with "inscrutable". Follow me? Good.
Those of you that know me know that I am generally an extremely constructive and positive individual, but this hivemind action here really just ****s me off.

Matt, I have a lot of respect for you, so I'm not going to get into it over this, but for the record I've worked extremely hard to be able to afford all my own equipment, software, etc, and every penny I've earned has gone back into music in some way or another. As for being shit, that may or may not be true, lol, but I am at least open to criticism and willing to better myself.
And also for the record, you can record 48 khz / 24 bit with an X-Box Live headset if it's plugged into the right sound card. Will it sound good? No.
ONCE MORE, FOR THE PEOPLE WHO STILL DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT I'M SAYING:
I'm not saying the vocals are shit. I expressed distaste at the background noise in one post. Everything else is in response to the ludicrous idea that somehow things that are free or "for fun" are somehow immune to scrutiny.

For those of you who arnt gratefull then plz keep ure comments to urself, i didnt see anyone else offer to do vox for the comp so deal with, and as far as the voxgo ive finished the track and they are very good, the trak is well balanced and there isnt much back ground noise anything that was there is easily filtered out so plz guys show a little appreciation to nova not everybody has top notch equipment to record on so she has done her best.... thnx all good luck in the comp
