I go to raves where hardcore is played, but I've never been to an all hardcore event.
I don't think that ever happens in the Bay area anymore.

I'm not 18 till January so I'll be breaking onto the hardcore scene then  Except I live in Ireland and I'm pretty sure there's not much raving happening here  Anyone know of any hardcore clubs or anything? In Cork?

Only been to a few.
Some had Hardcore (Not for the main though)
The most recent one was a rave, and the DJ (One of my friends, actually) was playing Hardstyle. And that was actually quite awhile back.

Hardcore over here is Hardstyle... =( The last party I went to ACEN I never got in, because it was a Conference (People all dressed in Costumes, Goths, etc.), Silver was there and Jakazid, DJ Chucky... It would have been sick, but wasn't patient enough to wait (4 out of 8 hours)

I've been going to Hardcore events for about 6 years here in Montreal, Québec city, Toronto & Ottawa. The scene is much smaller nowadays compared to back in 2000... Now we have about 400 people to the big Hardcore events in Montreal, when back a few years the attendance could go up to 800 people... The Toronto scene is definitely not the same anymore without Hullabaloo, the reknown events by Anabolic Frolic.
The main harcore resident dj's aren't exactly the same anymore either, but we always get at least one international headliner every year. We've seen Scott Brown, Sharkey, Kevin Energy, Alek Szahala, UFO, Brisk, Sc@r & Uplift, & others I cant remember at the moment :P
I must say I've yet to experience party in Canada like I experienced it in Spain at HTID In The Sun 2007. This was something I definitely want to experience again in 2010.

I used to go to uprising in sheffield, horrible mc's though-constantly battling with the dj, ruined it. In liverpool there's sweet f.a on, so I stick to my hard style nights!! :) think hardcore at festivals is so much better than clubs anyway. There and at small back room raves- I feel they've a much better atmosphere than mainstream events. Only my opinion though, ahoy.
