I wouldn't say free parties are rough.. Unless you're talking about London squat parties or something?

Ah right... London... Yeah.. heh. Remember one guy getting his shoes and trousers robbed at one party.
Get yourself out into the countryside for a much better free party experience. 8-)

Even when I went to uni there was stuff going on in Bristol and if there was nothing on there I had been known to decide at the last min to jump on a train to London!
Used to go to something hardcore/hard dance at least once a month but now its more like a couple of times a year. Westfest was fun last year and i'm off to Tranz-mission in April at the Ally Pally :)
I totally agree with you! Ive been living in London for nearly 5 years and the best part which I enjoy the most and one of the main reasons which kept me in the city ( no not the price of rent) but the rave scene. I totally love it. We have our own little scene here and crew, and better still our own style of music! I find the raves in london are accomodating for everything. more darker the better as well :) Never had a problem at a party here, and everyone is so friendly. If you havent been to a rave in london start by checking out Epidemik this sat or History Of Hardcore in April or even better still - Raindance!

Want to go, but the bank says no :(
Nevermind, finally got a job so I will be back mashing it up in no time :) Have tranzmission to look forward to but tell me, has there been a thread titled 'How to stop your mates hyping a party up for 2 month before hand to the point your sick of hearing about it when you actually go?' :P

no i don't
because it's HTID style event or nothing, i dont really wanna be in a room for of 15 year olds singing along to recon. i wanna be in a rave where's it's old rave music only.
and no silly mc blabering on about picking up giro's and bottles of rush or whatever it is these days.

For all we know, you probably don't go because you're as much as an awkward person in real life as you are on the boards. Parties are not a good place for awkward people anyways.

i,ve only ever been 2 a few raves as over here in ireland there is no were near the same amount of raves as you,s have in england,we have an event called planet love but them jokes can only manage 1 rave a year, and its all tents in a field but thankfully hardcore is supplied in 1 of the tents and we get some of the big boys over as in the past 4 years i,ve had the pleasure 2 see-hixxy,scott brown(twice)force+junior, marc smith, sharkey, demand, recon and nu foundation plus the local boys
so i,ll probably have 2 wait till september again 2 go 2 my next rave as thats when its on lol

White is too slow for me, maybe when I was first getting into clubbing it would have been better, but nevertheless a really good experience whether its black or white. Atmosphere is just amazing. I heard last years white was more funky then trance?? ID&T are not doing a black in the dam this year anyway, so gonna stick to more uk hardcore this year seeing as i am just getting back into it :-) And i must say luvin every minute of it so far.
