are you insane????? it was never hard until we made it hard pure fact plain and simple
Up to late 94 it was great, big sub bass, rolling breaks beats, great pianos, darker style hoover stuff. Then all of sudden this shit distorted kick came in and butchered it, gone was the free flowing rhythms and dynamics replaced with a boring bang bang bang, and more bang. Hmmmm, this argument seems familiar.
At least this Klubfiller dude had the decency the credit this as a remix, Scott Brown would have just claimed the tune was his own.

Hey that's not...actually yeah you're pretty much right on the money there.
Scott seems to have given his approval to the remix as well.

I'm indifferent to it really. Not a track I'd buy but I didn't hate it.

They aren't butchering Hardcore. They aren't in control of the scene. People don't have to like it and buy it, but they do, and so they do buy it. And so the producers keep making it. Don't blame the producers.

I posted the following comment in reply It's great till all that electro rubbish comes in and it becomes one of the biggest musical assassinations i have ever heard. I think that's a very accurate description of the track in question which points back to the topic...... It just shouldn't be allowed.
After reading this I thought it would be full of shitty beepyfartwubwubs and stuff. Seriously, this is great considering it's Dubcore. Yes, of course I would have preferred it to be a lot more, well, UK Hardcore because it could have been so much better. I agree with Stu Infinity's comment too about them not making it a remix and getting their own vocal for it. I bet there wouldn't be *quite* as much hate if it wasn't a remix of a classic.

Sorry but I quite like that tune. Probably wouldn't buy it but I'm indifferent to it at the least.
I don't have any implicit problem with that style of hardcore though so my opinion is probably irrelevant.

Well for sure I like more the original version but this one isn't that bad if you ask me.

Surely you must like the Digital Boy's Italian Rave remix of the 97 version? :)
