I have to agree with mustapha on this one, the songs are all our own perception, this discussion is actually about the authors intent of the song. They are not all about ecstasy, coke or any other drugs and some are.
Heres one for you to debate:
Endymion - Rock The Part-E
Is that title referring to pills or just emphasis on the partyyyy?
If you do drop every weekend (not saying you do) then you are into your drugs a lot, and so your perception will be biased towards that, you can relate songs to whatever you feel in most cases.
Dougal & Gammer - Addictions < This one is not about drugs... ;) :P

I would bet alot of money that it is referring 2 dids
Drugs may be the road to nowhere, but at least they're the scenic route. . .

- nobody needs e to enjoy hardcore
- if you need e 2 keep you standing, perhaps you are "not truly a hardcore lover"?

as mc storm has said on many many occassions (and on several slammin tape packs) "you can`t beat e`s and hardcore, its the f`king bollocks".
dropping a few pills now and again is fine by me but there is always the minority who take it to far and end up in the paramedics tent/area, they give the rest of us recreational users a bad name!
If you do or you don`t it`s up to you. it`s all cool with me!
STAY HARDCORE!!!

I'd have to admit tho that I use e while I listen to Trance. Don't ask me why and it's not becuz I'm trying to get into it. Kind of makes me feal like I'm walking on air and High frequencies go down and mix with the lows. Wierd huh?

When i used to do e every week end back in the day Anthing that started or emphasized the e i thought had something to do with ecstacy ( E-mail, some big truck had a huge E on the side of it, E for the entertainment chanel, ect..) . Its funny now looking back. But yeah a lot of songs are not about drugs but if you twist them it sounds like it.
Hello, I love you.

I can't believe you are actually debating this have any of you been to a rave??? lets face it whether you like to admit it or not a raves are full of of some pretty nasty people be they birkenhead(not classing just an example)or the bad men in d&b now lets think sensibly if you put this many hundred people together in one room fueled with alcohol and attitude its just going to be a mass ruck. this doesnt happen why?? cos everyone is ****ed on drugs! i dont deny there are some people like the music go sober etc but the vast majority go to get ****ed and listen to good music that is what gives the hardcore arenas such a friendly atmosphere E the reason you can chat to random people and make new friends so easy is cos ev1s ****ed. whether tunes are about drugs or not you cannot deny it is a drug fuelled scene. Im gonna be controversial but i honestly dont think there would be a hardcore scene without the drugs 90% of people simply wouldnt go to raves.

Have to admit i totally agree with bob fair play on the forum websites it attracts more people who are just into the scene for the music, but go to any big slammin type event and 90% of people are there to get battered with their mates and listen to the music they like. It's great that people dont need or want e's to go ravin and many still go but what he's said is defo not a lot of crap.
Venga familia!!!
