by any chance was 13 the first one you heard?

the ones people first hear usually tend to end up as their favorites ;)

i've listened to all the bonkers & i thought the new one isnt as bad as all seem. to many people have to much expectations of what hardcore should be, yet dont actually do anything about it!!

i've been into hardcore for about 13/14 years... not 6 months

good for you, whats that got to do with what you quoted me on?

mmmm, you misunderstood what i was saying or my meaning

I wasnt saying that everybody who has been listening from the start is dissapointed with the new bonkers, i was saying that the people who are dissapointed are made up mainly if not solely of people who have been listening from the start, that is to say, i dont think there is anybody out there who has started listening to bonkers since bonkers 16 who are particularly dissapointed.

also i said dissapointed, not dislike.

i live to "woffle" seems to get a rise out of some people

Not quite, at least for me. My first bonkers was Bonkers XI and I wasn't as impressed when I got Bonkers X like a week after. That one just blew me away compared to the first one I got.

It was my first Bonkers album yes, and finally swayed me from Trance into HappyHardcore with a passion... never looked back since! I have many memories of amazing times associated with songs on Bonkers 13.

On a slightly off topic note, does anyone remember the tune 'Innovate - Dance with Destiny'? It's the first track on Dougal's disc on Bonkers 7 - really loving that tune at the moment. :)

I think that we should release B18.

Like, get the best HH.com poster DJ's like Eufeion, Silver, and Luna-C, and not just producers but Leto, Cotts, and Ravine, then some underground ones too, and we could mix all sorts of crazy stuff from the AATW to the HU, to the songs posted on forums, to the songs on YouTube, as long as it's good, it goes!

If AATW is going to continue like this, we might as well make it better ourselves.

That said I loved Sharkey's mix but didn't like anything else. Still not worth it.

I Bought Bonkers X back in 2004 when I started going to Hardcore parties and getting to know Happy Hardcore. I couldn't stand any freeform/breakbeat hardcore at the time, and my tastes were still very limited, as I liked mostly only 1999ish Happy Hardcore. Bonkers X totally opened my eyes to trance-core, freeform and breakbeat hardcore.
