I first heard Bonkers from volume 15 in my sister's car, I then bought Bonkers from 16 so I guess I can't say much!

I think for the future Sharkey deffo has to stay on, personally I think his disc is usually the best!

As for Hixxy- It's tough. It would be weird getting rid of him considering he's been in Bonkers since the beginning, but he's also home to Clubland X. If AATW plan to do bonkers twice a year like clubland or the older bonkers, then Hixxy is going to have no time to create any new material for Bonkers or Clubland X

I do think Bonkers would be better with Cube::Hard tracks on it tho :P

For the future of this series, I say Scott Brown!
I would buy the next one if Scotty was on it, even if Chris Unknown, Scooter, and Rankin mixed the other discs.
Also I would LOVE to see S3RL have a disc. He deserves it!

the new bonkers album has slipped in the charts this sunday insted of shooting to number 1 like i thought it would - it was at #5 in the UK charts, now its dropped to #8

guess the AATW advertising mean machine isnt as finely tuned as i thought it was...

i'm not surprised... hardcore doesnt have the capacity to uphold a number 1 position in the charts... not only that, bonkers is relatively new... clubland on the other hand has a sustained brand loyalty. people know clubland hardcore better and have their loalty tied into it since they know what its all about. also bonkers has gotten pretty poor reviews and the music on it is in many tracks, very poor even by noob standards.

and who'd have heard of chris unknown or sharkey in the mainstream market? like, no one... they're all used to styles and hixxy... not unknown and sharkey... get me? lolz

Turns out the British public wont just lap up whatever's pushed under their noses - well, not regarding Hardcore anyway, it seems. Theyre still morons when it comes to the likes of Timber-Spears or Sugababes Aloud.

I for one am glad. Good. Maybe AATW will realise that Bonkers isnt the cash-cow they were hoping for it to be, jump ship and stick to what they do best (i use best very loosely), that being Clubland. Although id like for the artists involved and the scene as a result, to reep as many benifits from this album and AATW's involvement as possible, im also quite happy to see Bonkers die and AATW **** off once and for all.

other recent bonkers have charted higher than this, it might come as a wake up call to AATW to listen ot the people they are making the album for and not try and bring in new customers..

to be fair, their only market now is teenage girls, if you're not a teenage girl and you bought bonkers, you need to start thinking a little harder about your personality.

Haha you serious? I don't think any of us can be elitist about music when we listen to hardcore, cmon its not exactly the most intelligent or complex music is it. Its just cheesy fun dance music.

Yes it is! Happy Hardcore, Freeform, UK Hardcore and Breakbeat Hardcore alike, it's all retardedly fast and happy music. Even if you've been listening to the genre long enough for that impression to wear off, that is still how 99% of the population would describe it after a first listen. Even the darkest, most intricate Freeform song sounds like a silly sci-fi movie soundtrack rip-off... there's no getting away from the fact that Hardcore isn't bad-ass in any way, shape or form.
