I have lots of food stocked up but that's because we just went through several bad winter storms =P
the only place that should be concerned about radiation are the people in Japan. All of the radiation will have dissapated by the time it reaches anywhere else.
Those men working to save the reactors from a total meltdown are true heroes

I hope people with hormone problems have enough iodine saved up because I have a feeling people are going to start buying anything with the word iodine in it...when they should be buying potassium iodine

The workers have left the plant, no one is there, the government sent the japanese army to dump water by chopper onto the plant but they turned back because of high radiation ... I can't understand their thinking here... sure 1-4 guys might get sick but how about saving the nation? Now the police are suppose to go there with a water cannon... this is taking way to long... really dont like this...
US embassy has asked for people 80km of the area to get out...
German, France, British and several other embassies has told nationals to leave tokyo or go south.

News is late, main problem is that NHK (english) channel is playing audio from NHK world which is over 4-12 hours old... people including myself thought it was a live translation, but when I noticed the Japanese was different to the english I clued in...
You want to look at this for 5 mins..

Apparently there are 180 people still working on it. Older workers are being asked to volunteer because the effects of this type of radiation at these levels take potentially decades to manifest. Nasty thought.

Holy shit that's a lot of aftershocks, and some of them really shallow ones, too! :(
