It's always nice to have a constant.

Edit: That reminds me of a book I haven't thought about in a while. The Constants Of Nature. Pretty good stuff.

The attitude that British people are somehow more qualified to comment on hardcore is annoying. I just don't want to condone that kind of exclusive attitude.

I think we might be getting confused :P

I was just elaborating on specifically what I didn't like about what he said.

Just recieved my CD today. Just got the Hixxy CD on and I'm astounded at the poor quality of the audio. Sounds like it has been woefully timestretched or something. How can they pass this as a professional product?

I would think that they where aiming for the Digital market and the CD market as secondary. Hixxy mix digitally does not contain those problems.

You know as well as me that is a poor excuse. All they needed to do was ask Hixxy to pitch up his mix by a few more BPM. There is even a few minor mistakes on the tracklisting on Hixxy's mix.

Just stinks tbh.

It didn't stop Metallica from releasing their overly compressed Death Magnetic album

the last days i just read about something called "loudness war". some of you probably know what it is. then yesterday i was hearing again to clubland x-treme hardcore 9. and today i was listening to my last favourite one, clubland 7... and 6... and 5....
and now i can name it. clubland 9 is loudness war ... it's nothing uncommon and ofc. hardcore tunez should be loud, but it's really that shit going on there as well. loudness war... anyone agrees?

You may have noticed that many hardcore tracks have less in them (made simpler) so they're easier to master and can be made as loud as possible.. its a sad reality

yeah... made the simple observation on my graphical equalizer on my hifi system that playing clubland 9 all the bars were constantly way more up than on clubland 5, 6 or 7.
8 is bad and 9 is really even worse...
