The quality of Breeze's mix is actually very high, it just doesn't really belong on a dedicated Hardcore compilation. I certainly don't think it makes sense to have it on one with a more euphoric, vocally one like Clubland anyway. For the next one they should just let Breeze and Hixxy go and bring in Dougal and Gammer.

Staggering to think that they're not on a regular album series, really. Summer Madness, I guess. But that was a one-off, and last summer. No, summer 2011? Really? Jesus Christ.
But yeah. Madness. They're hugely popular, make good old-fashioned uplifting vocal Hardcore and largely free of controversy.
Wish I had some money and some clout. Would love to put a CD out.

No one hates our albums because HU and ReBuild albums are always original, professional, professionally mastered and well presented. No one has ever really given me any bad feedback on my albums, they've said they don't like the odd track but nothing beyond that.
I wasn't contacted by any artists on CXH9 for material, sad but true. ReBuild Music released Dynamo Cookie about 2 years before anyone started making 'dubcore' so you can blame Peaks & Pinnacle for bassline driven music!

Don't know how Thumpa sees it but why does Samination act a bit like a troll on here? ^^

It is true that Thumpa's rebuild albums do not disappoint and apart from the odd travesty (that horrid finish to blood sweat and tears) tend to be what they are sold as ie Hardcore.

The final track on BST was a beautiful piece of music, especially as Betwixt & Between died a few months after. It's the perfect end to the album, ambience after the madness.
Please go and listen to it again and educated yourself Vlad.

I can't bitch about BST as it wasnt sold as a one genre album. But I can't say I liked B&B's track either, even tho I liked most of his other stuff.

Quietly impressed so far.
Breeze - I still think that Uplifting tunes that descend into fartcore nothingness are a total travesty but the stuff that is or sounds like drumstep/DnB is quality.
Gammers mix is excellent, why he is STILL overlooked so often when he's easily the number one producer/dj (in my eyes) astounds me.
Hixxy's - erm....moving swiftly on...
Styles - Lot of samey sounding stuff there are still a few killer tunes on there.
Overall, well worth buying. Nowhere near as good as what i expect from a HU or Rebuild album, but that's one of the advantages of having low expectations - you don't get so disappointed!
