Did Hixxy even listen to his mix after he was done with it?

If you listened to the digital purchase version, you can clearly hear that the mix was altered to fit the CD. I think it' was a choice made completly by AATW and not by Hixxy

But really it's just adding more variety in Hardcore music.
If you listened to UK Hardcore from the early 90's a lot of it was dark and breakbeaty. Infact Breezes mix is probably more like the traditional rave than any of the other discs.
IS ALL HARDCORE, JUST HAVE FUN, OPEN YOUR MINDS AND ENJOY IT FOR WHAT IT IS INSTEAD OF BEING SO SMALL MINDED.

LOL what this about a war:) I know Breezes music is not every ones cup of tea, but then again neither is freeform.
All I'm saying is if someone wants to do something different with Hardcore music, they shouldn't be heckled and dismissed because it's not to their liking. It might come as a surprise to some but a lot of people do like his sound. Didn't Petrucio and Modulate win best new producers in the Hardcore Heaven awards which is voted by the raving public, just like Hardcore Underground won best label which was well deserved also.
Hardcore scene is such a small scene already and should be united, not divided.

Don't like to play this card but freeform sounds far more hardcore than dubcore now.

I guess they won solely because their sound was fresh and not so dubdrumstep influenced than now.

True but breeze / futureworlds move to drag fans from d&b and drumstep is an incredible risky job

Not saying that my graphic is 100% accurate since I kinda doubt shown d&b and dubstep popularity in our scene but the main thought behind this is still legit: By creating a new sub-subgenre the chances of dragging new fans to scene are theoretical very limited...

Isn't DnB double the size of that? :P
Anyways, Petrucio and Modulate did win with their electro drumstepish sound.

Modulate and Petruccio's sound was fresh? No, it was probably more heavily lifted from Electro/Minimalist than any supposed "Dubcore" was from Dubstep.

It was, or why did they won anything with that album? I don't see any other reason.
What I noticed over the net people were like "Uff, they bring something new to Hardcore, nice!" (some people might say "MEEEHH, NOT TRUE IN UK"; fine, your opinion). I was a bit surprised aswell but from then on it went pretty much downhill with that dubcore genre because they sound more like a drumstep subgenre, just not my taste... it may takes some years before some proper tunes come out.
