I'm not sure tbh. I'd actually classify tracks like 3000 Cycles or Crackwhore as closer to freeform than "electrocore". Each to their own, it can be an extremely subjective distinction anyway.

Comparison? OK. Compared to a scene in need of illegal raves - yeah, it's pretty full. There is zero incentive for electrocore ravers to march into fields, there are practically weekly events in that calendar, and those only represent a fraction of the ones actually out there.

quote:
The need to resort to fields and warehouses isn't there because the music isn't good enough,

If the absurdity of suggesting that music can be objectively good in the first place were not reason enough to dismiss this comment, the mind boggling arrogance of the assertion should be. It's not good enough? Says who? You? The only thing you can quantify about music, is how many people like it, and right now, more people seem to like the electrocore style of hardcore than any other. I'm not one of them, but the relative success can't be ignored just because you don't like it.

quote:
when this dub/electrocore fad moves on (which it will, just like the hardcore that used watered down drum n bass fad did in 04) you'll see that it won't go to the fields and warehouses because nobody will care enough to keep it alive.

Lotto numbers please.

In hindsight though I must say, it's funny that you triumphantly accepted Luca'C's opinion when he agreed with you, but when he doesn't on this particular issue, his thoughts are ignored. Very telling.

Hi People, Im Pex L, And i think ,this is a simple fashion brought for djs like Petruccio & Modulate, Breeze, and darren,

Well, Where is the hardcore?,

The name of cd is Clubland Xtreme Hardcore, But, Where is the hardcore?
Here is a complete set, of sounds Electro, Dubstep, and others, but hardcore?

Well, for this reason , The hardcore producer give us a image of the actual hardcore, but where found the new ideas, and the new sources for this "hardcore", ?

We are DJS! And we need This ideas for The "NEW HARDCORE" Or "Dubcore" because, we want to be in the scene too :S

The previous Cd Of clubland, Like Clubland Xtreme hardcore 1,2,3,4,5 and 6, Give us a image of the music of uk, the trancy melodies, and the good quallity of the vocals, Now? This is happy? Noh. (Now this is a dubstep, with electro sounds,) <------ for me this is noise no music :),

Well people, We need fight for this, The true hardcore lovers, and the true, hardcore djs, the new hardcore djs and all djs, We need fight for this, because this is not the breeze and darren style, this is our style ;),

haha the ambient is like war, but this is cool lol!

greetings people!
