Purely about the music.

hardcore music...and the dance scene
personally i think i prefer the big dance festivals where you choose your music by which tent you go in..even though i tend to flock toward the tidy tent no matter where i am :P

If I ever go to England, I might try a rave out, but considering how i hate partying, I might not stay long ;P

Both, the best feeling is to be in the scene, not just a part of it. I mean as a DJ. Oh my god it's amazing especially since my life is kind of just DJing and producing now. **** school.

The scene is dire atm...
especially on hhc.com...
Everyone, myself included, are getting too passionate about their own views, and people are starting to clash.. Maybe i need a couple weeks break?

It's just a forum and doesn't represent the scene in any way, but I agree, it's getting crazy. I'm starting to backlash a lot more at people who talk shit about hardcore... I love it all, underground + commercial, and it makes me sad that no one is getting along about it.
However outside of this forum there is nothing wrong with hardcore. It's more popular than it ever has been and there are hardcore raves all over the world all the time.

I absolutely hate the scene! I never liked it, it just disgustes me! However I know like ~10 people now who do listen to it ( which is very rare because we actually do not have any scene here in Austria ) but we're all more into the House scene, which means we don't dress like … well you know, ugly people ;-)) And stuff like that haha … I think it's cool because before I didn't really know anyone who was into Hardcore and now I found out that some of my close friends love it! That's how I stopped listening to newer stuff, they got me into the 2003-2005 sound! We got some events in the biggest DnB clubs and actually everyone loves it, it's absolutely wicked! There's 2 type of Hardcore over here, "Happy Hardcore", that's what nobody likes and ( almost ) everyone makes fun of, DJ Cotts, DJ Ravine, etc ( altough I both like(d) them! ) well it's what we call UK Hardcore, and then there's what we call "Tekk/DnB-Tekk" ( because nobody likes the word 'Hardcore' ), it's you know, older stuff like from Storm, CLSM, etc. and you can dance to it like to DnB, well a bit like this : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hqb-N9KhO4M We also have an austrian community for all the illegal rave parties ( acidtekno.at I think ) but I think the people are all pretty ugly, the parties are cool tho, a girlfriend of mine is Deejane and often plays on those parties :-) So to conclude, the scene was never something for me, I'm for the music, and now that I've built up my own little Hardcore-Circle I can enjoy the music with people that are in another scene, like me :-)
