Proof we're not carnivores:
1. Carnivores don't have nails, herbivores do. Carnivores have sharp claws.
2. Carnivores do not sweat through pores on their skin.
3. Carnivores have fur all over their body.
4. Carnivores have very short digestive tracks to pass raw meat.
5. Carnivores stomach acid acidity is 20x more acidic then an herbavores/humans.
6. Carnivores saliva is acidic, humans is basic.
7. Carnivores do not suffer the consequences of high cholesterol, humans and herbivores do.

You wouldn't happen to believe in creationism too would you?

Because we're not like another animal that eats meat, that means we can't be them.
Because evolution hasn't made an animal that looks, and acts different then others before. Right?
Pfft.

1. Humans have fairly sharp claws, back in 'caveman' times they would of had longer sharper nails.
2. Not sure about that one.
3. Humans have hair all over their body.
4. Humans don't need to digest food as quickly as other animals.
5. Again unnecessary.
6. I'm pretty sure that comes down to hygiene.
7. That's because humans are omnivores.
Also a lot of this comes down to evolution, unless you're a Christian and believe in fairytales.

Because from the way you put it, it seems as though you believe we were put on this earth as we are. Chances are at some stage we would have had such characteristics as a carnivore, but as our diets changed over time our bodies have adapted. We can pick and choose what we want to eat therefore i wouldn't say we are naturally anything - carnivore or herbivore. If you want to be veegan and live of soy beans and depression (i've never come across a happy vegetarian) then go ahead, but i'll stick to my lovely dead animals. Speaking of which, i wonder what our cat would tatse like......

Do any animals other than humans sweat?

Yes. I could also name a few animals that don't sweat and they are vegetarians, most notably the Elephant.

Was thinking that one. Was on that Inside Nature's Giants the other week. Cool themselves by pumping the blood to their ears and flapping them i do believe.
Just been typing in "insert animal title here" and "sweat" in google lol. Apparently rabbits don't sweat, but cool themselves the same way as Elephants. Ha Sakari! In yo face

I'm an atheist, and I believe in evolution. But all the things I listed still pertain to how humans are today....

But there's also been no animal like us before, that we know of.
So you can't compare us to other animals.

I think I'm done with this topic lol. I just announced a lifestyle choice I was going to make. I didn't think it would turn into 8 pages of posts
