I got tired of the trancey sound a long time ago. I can still listen and dance to it, but, don't add it to my collection. I'm really looking forward to the electro sound progressing into more and more tracks next year and for many years to come.

Welllll.........I reckon its guna get harder n bouncier. simple as. lol. No point making old skool tunes really, that periods been and gone. hardcore will develop not over night though.
Whoever said producers like mark smith are making tunes for the dancefloor now...well whats hardcore for...clubs raves n dancefloors!
A hope that the jumpstyle/scooterish sound doesn't get more prominent coz in my opinion its shite, bring on some bangin anthems, less vocals, bouncy basslines and mad noises....in other words...GAMMER. guna be his decade! :)

I don't really mind electrocore, there are worse genres hardcore could take sounds from.

It has a canny influence on todays hardcore that electro sound. But to the credit to the producers it hasn't taken anything away from that hardcore sound.

What will Hardcore sound like in 2010?
....well, with all this appetite for short mixing, stuffing loads of tracks into a set, it'll probably start sounding like Pop Music
to cater for all the masses with the attention span of a Goldfish.
