Bah. You'll soon get bored of all the work it would take and go back to playing volleyball and drinking fosters.

Gross who drinks fosters? It's like ****in water. Gross.

In all seriousness, i know at least with AWF we've been saving some slammers for the new year. Anyone who follows AWF is going to fall in love with each and every one of us.

Starstruck is a huge flirt anyway though and has probably already attracted the bi/gay/confused-about-their-sexuality males that follow the label.

He's such a slut.

Whether you like it or not, the mainstream sound will sound even more commercial sounding!! Every year it gets more and more influenced from commercial dance.

I only hope there will be some changes, because if there isn't then it would be goodbye to the once innovative Hardcore scene

Here are my thoughts on the future progression of hardcore.

  • Hardcore is currently the most sonically diverse that it has ever been, and the diversity of the sounds it uses will continue to increase in the coming years, largely propelled by the increasing popularity and existence of compilations that cover a broader spectrum of hardcore sounds.

  • Darwin & Entity will be the Breeze & Styles of this decade, except even better since hardcore is improving again.

  • Many of the most typical sounds that become common in every decade of hardcore are influenced by the more popular musical styles of the previous decades (works for sets of 5 years too). So this decade, there will likely be more tracks with vocals like Odyssey, Modulate & Petruccio – Stairway To Heaven, and electro influence will continue to increase in hardcore as is currently happening, which will be followed in a couple years by an increase in influence from dubstep.

  • S3rl will continue growing in popularity and the new Aussie hardcore sound will become more prominent and influential in the overall scene.

Aww, I was liking your thoughs on the subjetct, until THIS happened, an baby Jesus started to cry.

Seriously, I doubt Dubstep will influence Happy Hardcore any time soon, but we will see! Our genre does find parts of it's roots into whatever is popular in the mainstream at any given time, but is Dubstep already part of that mainstream like Electro is?

I definitely don't think dubstep is as mainstream as electro, although it seems like that in some areas. there are dubstep groups that promote and produce it in TX and FL. i always believed that dubstep is mostly a US thing is it big over in the UK?

Electro isn't that mainstream. Dubstep definitely gets more radio play than Electro over here.

And what about clubs or bigger parties? Is dubstep more popular than House or Electro in the club scene?
