I completely understand that if you dont like the genre then you just plain dont like it.....I dont like funky and electro house, if I heard the underground stuff I know I wouldnt like that either.
Anyway, a couple clips I quickly found (its hard to know titles as the mixes that DJs do never have a tracklist with them)....I dont know how to embed.

Whilst we are hovering around the donk subject, heres a couple decent tracks but with MCs on them for anyone who hasnt heard the top tier MCs in donk.....
MC Arkie kicks this off, then EM:DMC takes the mic once it kicks in and keeps it for a while until they go back to back.....The opening rhyme is pretty famous from Arkie now and this track is alot of MCs favourite for MCing to....

This one has MC Finchy in the red t-shirt (won best MC last year at the bounce awards), also has Adyzee in the black top who goes 2nd, followed by MC Race in the White and Black who spits his 2 most popular rhymes in this (took you to a new dimension and you got my number)....(quite an old video but pretty cool)

Scot Brown dj'd not long ago in our town had Sharkey as mc and after watching the video of the event
1) Scot Brown wasnt really good(cant believe amd saying that but its true)
2)Sharkey absolutely ruined the songs with his (echoing mc'ing)

yea i checked those clips the tracks were alright but the MCing literally drowned out all the good quality of the track. perfect example when there's MC overkill
the spanish donk however was pretty decent. it's just that donk noise gets to be irritating 2 me after awhile. other than that good spanish donk tunes

yeah, listened to the clips really not my thing at all, the 4th one wasnt too bad...but it was more hard house than "donk" (the bass didnt irritate me that much!) think even lisa pin up put that one on the start of one of her albums too
overall it just reminds me of the label "shock records" never liked anything off that label either...and whilst at the time they were are hard house label, if they were releaseing the same tracks nowadays it would be pigeoned straight into bouncy house lol
im not going to sit around and say its all trash - because im sure its simply not true, i have at least 2 pieces of "donk"-like pieces of vinyl in my collection...and i wouldnt have them if i didnt like them
if i dont like the song, im not going to listen to it, thats the first issue, second issue is that even with two pieces of donk, i couldnt listen to them one after the other as i get sick of the "donk" itself toward the end of the first song lol

ive finally gone through those 700 pieces i bought off ebay and adding them to my discogs now - and i know there was at least one piece of scouse house i kept as it wasnt too irritating

Cant beat a gud donk tune! luvin that spanish and russian donk thats exactly my cuppa tea, just like 'HARD BOUNCE' in English terms!!
I'ts getting more popular, i've got no worries about that sound influencing hardcore, if anything bring it on... like gammer himself said it kinda matters on the dancefloor and all these tunes would go down a treat
