| Darren Styles new album: Tracklist + artwork |

An online retailer has posted details of hardcore producer Darren Styles' new album which is due according to the site June 9th 2008.
Due to the number of tracks on the album and the fact it is an artist album both disc are likely unmixed. It is unclear to the style of music, if the tracks are more commercial dance or hardcore or both is still unknown. What is also unclear is the tracks might not be full length 12" edits with DJ mixable intros and outros but shorter album tracks as it's an artist album for consumers and not aimed at DJ's - all will be revealed in the coming weeks.

Information has been released about the next release in the series of True Hardcore with True Hardcore 2. The release date is set for May 26th 2008 although unconfirmed the DJ's and MC's seem to remain the same as the last album as the launch party features the same DJ's.
We have also managed to dig up some tracks to be featured on the upcoming album.

Michael Mansion is a hardcore producer out of North America that has produced labels such as Higher State and Sunrize Sound with a focusing on vocal-driven tracks according to Mansion. In addition there's lots of stuff in the pipeline for 2008 Mansion says.

SETI as you know is the search for extra terrestrial radio signals, they scan the night sky in search of radio signals from possible other intelligent life. Late last year it was decided that the SETI group will send a signal of their own. According to the group the wave length of the transmission had to be of a certain length and type and should actually contain something about the human race. SETI contacted HappyHardcore.com and Nick Arnold about beaming the hardcore music classic track "shooting star" by bang! as it fit the wave type and length plus as a catchy phrase "Like a shooting star...".
Nick Arnold from Bang! was quoted as saying:
"It's an honor to have one of the tracks I've worked on beamed into outer space, lets just hope we don't attract some bad ravers aliens."
Seth from SETI said:
"The wave form was so incredibility accurate that we had to use it, so we contacted happyhardcore.com and the rest will be history we hope!"
When HappyHardcore.com asked how they came across hardcore music and this track the SETI group said that the same computing power that searches for radio waves in outer space was used to search the internet for a matching tune. It found a track by "DJ Cammy" called "Across the Sky (Camz jailhouse mix)" on bebo but when we contacted the owner of the profile the owner replied with some alien of his own "ezzz guv, eye nowz downz internets". We thought we were in trouble at this point but from there a google search found HappyHardcore.com and we worked from there.
The date of the broadcast will be July 14th 2008, with an official press release coming out in the following weeks, we'll keep you informed.

An album nearly 5 years in the making is Sharkey's solo album (yet to be named / or at least name confirmed). Resist music was going to released the album but since their demise news has it that Sharkey has signed a new deal with and the album will be seeing the light of day.
