A mass of Hardcore producers in Arcade game
Author: silver
HappyHardcore.com's DJ Silver has been busy helping Konami Japan with the upcoming video game Dance Dance Revolution SuperNova 2. The game is a full arcade machine (like down at your local game center or pub) and later to be released on home consoles.
Just some of artist names you might recognize are:
Burn Baby Burn / SLOTH MUSIC PROJECT feat. ANDY L
My Favorite Things / SLOTH MUSIC PROJECT feat. ALISON WADE
Every Day Every Night(NM Style) / LEA DROP feat. Ant Johnston
L'amoure et la liberté (Darwin & DJ Silver Remix) / NAOKI in the MERCURE
Shades of Grey / Fracus
SUNKiSS♥DROP / jun with Alison (Wade)
Why not / Darwin
Tip of the iceberg look for future music placed in other Konami titles from HappyHardcore.com :)
Two videos of players playing Darwin - Why not (with Ant Johnston on vocals), note the "thumping" sound is the dancers feet playing the game and is not part of the music. The actual song starts around 25% into the video on both videos.

Further details on True hardcore
Author: silver
HappyHardcore.com contacted GUT Recordings and they have confirmed that they are releasing a triple CD called True Hardcore in September 2007.
According to sources the album will be mixed by Essential Platinum (mixed by Dougal & Gammer), Quosh Records (mixed by DJ Sy & Unknown) and THC (Mixed by Supreme & Sunset Regime) hosted by Storm and Whizzkid.
Either way the CD street release has been posted as 24th of September 2007.
A new hardcore album has popped up on online retailers overnight called "True Hardcore". No other information is avaiable yet, it is unknown what label it is being released from.
From the artwork we can make out that "DJ Mikey and DJ Smith" are producing 1 CD with "50 true hardcore anthems" - we're quite sure they are not planning to put 50 tracks on 1 CD so it is just be a misprint that is it 1 CD and should be 3 CD's.
We are also not sure who the DJ's are exactly, DJ Smith could be DJ Marc Smith, but we are yet to confirm, stay tuned.
Either way the CD street release date is 24th of September 2007.
The CLSM crew have released more information about their upcoming album project. The new CLSM album will be called "Bathford welcomes careful drivers" and the launch night in the UK (on which the first copies will be available will be Friday the 7th September starting at 7.30pm in Bathford, UK).
The album is a double cd with the first of which in a similar format to the previous CLSM albums and the second CD containing mixable full length versions of various CLSM tunage.
If your in the UK the launch event night will include an interesting games evening presented by Jimmygoat of the CLSM crew, meanwhile the other CLSM members Ned no surname and Colin are planning a 20 minute 'demonstation' in nearby woods involving a treehouse and a stage and a gazibo if it gets wet which will happen during the games night.

New Album: Hard Fast & Furious by Resist
Author: silver
By mistake or info leak Anne Savage, a prominent UK Hard Dance DJ, has confirmed in a recent fan newsletter that she is working on a new album called "Hard, Fast & Furious". While this is nothing overly special as Ms. Savage has released many an album over the years, what was interesting was the other DJ's featured on the album.
The newsletter reads "Hard Fast & Furious compilation album with Mark EG and Hixxy due for release October (2007)". After some carefully placed phone calls we found out the album is indeed in the pipeline and being released by none other than Resist (of the Bonkers, Hardcore Heaven series fame). The album will 100%, according to Resist, contain hardcore and hard dance music but exact details are still yet to be worked out. If we were to take an educated guess on the album, it will be a 3 disc CD with hard dance on the first disc (Anne Savage), hard(er) dance on the second (Mark EG), hardcore on the third (Hixxy).
When asked about the next Bonkers and Hardcore Heaven CD's, Resist would not comment on them as the details are yet to be worked out but did confirm that they are both in the pipeline and we should definitely hear something from those titles in the near future.
